Abstract:
A device that can be used, for example, for application or use with hair care products. The device includes two sheets connected to one another by a connecting region which defines a cavity on a first side of the connecting region, such that a user's hand can be inserted into the cavity. A flexible strip preferably cut into fringes and flaps, is provided on a second side of the connecting region. A method for manufacturing a device of this kind is also provided in which two webs of strip material are unrolled simultaneously, connected, and then cut. Parts of the webs, including both the connecting region and the cut fringes and flaps, are then separated. The device can optionally be impregnated with a product, for example, a hair care product.
Abstract:
A product dispensing device includes a container having an opening and a retaining member in the vicinity of the opening. The container is configured to contain a product, and the retaining member defines a dosing cavity for containing an amount of product capable of being dispensed when the device is in an upright orientation. The retaining member comprises a peripheral sidewall. A portion of the device comprises an edge defining an orifice in flow communication with the container and the dosing cavity. At least part of the edge extends inside the peripheral sidewall and/or an extension of the peripheral sidewall at a non-zero distance therefrom. The orifice is positioned to define a maximum filling level of the dosing cavity.
Abstract:
A device for applying a hair product which includes a support on one face of which there projects application elements. The application elements are arranged such that a first group of application elements of a first row is superposable, along a longitudinal axis (X) of the support, with a second group of application elements of a second row. The application elements of the second group have a mean flexibility and/or a mean height that is greater respectively than the mean flexibility and/or the mean height of the application elements of the first group. In addition, the mean of the spacings between application elements that make up the second group is less than the mean of the spacings between application elements that make up the first group.
Abstract:
A sachet may include at least two sealed compartments. The sachet may include first and second opposite main walls, a partition separating an inside of the sachet into two compartments, and first and second foldable side walls situated on respective sides of the partition.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for rolling a lock of hair, the device comprising: a deformable curler extending along a longitudinal axis, capable of taking up a first configuration enabling the lock of hair to be rolled up on the curler, and a second configuration in which at least a fraction of the length of the curler presents a radial dimension that is smaller than in the first configuration so as to facilitate extraction of the curler from the lock that has been rolled up in this way; and a control member enabling the curler to be changed from the first configuration to the second configuration.
Abstract:
A device for dispensing a first product and a second product together comprising a first container configured to contain the first product and a second container configured to contain the second product. The device may further comprise a dispensing member defining at least one dispensing orifice, the dispensing member being movable so as to irreversibly switch the device from a first configuration to a second configuration. When the device is in the first configuration, the first container and the second container are not in flow communication with the at least one dispensing orifice, and when the device is in the second configuration, the first container and the second container are in flow communication with the at least one dispensing orifice.
Abstract:
An application device for applying a hair product, especially a dye product, to sections of hair. The device comprises a component made of at least one elastically deformable material and a reservoir for containing a product. The component at least partly defines a slot which communicates with the reservoir and is accessible from the outside of the device. The slot is bounded by edges which, at rest, are positioned substantially contiguous to each other so as to create a seal. A section of hair is able to pass through the slot so as to allow the section of hair to be coated with the product in response to movement of the device in a longitudinal direction with respect to the section of hair.
Abstract:
This application relates to a mixing device for mixing at least two products. The device includes a first container containing a first product, preferably a liquid, and a second container containing a second product, preferably a powder, the first and second containers being separated in sealed fashion by a removable stopper. The mixing device comprises a flexible finger coupled to an operating member and capable, in response to actuation of the operating member, of engaging the stopper. While engaging the stopper, the flexible finger may flex elastically into a position of abutment against a stop borne by the stopper. In this position the flexible finger forms a buttress-like prop capable of releasing the stopper so as to allow the first and second products to be mixed.
Abstract:
A dispenser includes an upper element and a lower element configured to cooperate to form a reservoir and a valve cavity of a valve. In addition to the valve cavity, the valve includes an inlet passage for providing flow from the reservoir to the valve, an outlet passage for providing flow from the valve to a dispensing outlet of the dispenser, and a movable valve member configured to be moved from a closed position to an open position to enable flow through the dispensing outlet. A product is contained in the reservoir, and this product may be chosen from a pharmaceutical composition, a vaccine, a hormone, and a drug. Also, the dispenser may be used in a dispensing method wherein the product is dispensed toward a portion of an individual, such as the mouth, nose, skin, and/or hair.
Abstract:
A device for dispensing a product may comprise a container defining an opening, with the container being configured to contain a product and a retaining element mounted at least partially in the opening and defining a cavity configured to contain an amount of the product for dispensing. The device may further comprise a separating member separating a first region of the container from a second region of the container. The first region may be configured so that the product resides therein when the device is in an upright position and the second region may be disposed adjacent the opening. At least one first passage defined by the retaining element may have a position that defines a maximum amount of product capable of being contained in the cavity. At least one second passage defined by the retaining element may be in flow communication with the second region of the container and configured to permit passage of at least some product from the second region into the cavity. The separating member may be configured to permit one-way flow of product from the first region to the second region when the device is at least partially inverted from its upright position.
