摘要： An ink jet printing apparatus for industrial use, which is provided with a comparatively large number of nozzles arranged for high duty recording, particularly an ink jet textile printing apparatus, and an ink jet printing apparatus suitably used for printing on a large-sized medium, are provided together with a method for controlling the temperature of the printing head of such high duty printing apparatuses, and various other types of printing apparatuses reliably. To the large number of heaters used for recording in a printing step, driving signals are applied to cause them to discharge ink for recording and, to the discharge heaters that are not to perform recording, secondary driving signals that do not allow ink to discharge are applied. These secondary driving signals cause the heaters not used in recording to generate heat, so as to reduce unevenness in the intensities of heat generation among the many discharge heaters of the printing head. At the same time, cooling water is supplied by a cooling device to a cooling liquid path arranged for the printing head in order to cool it.

摘要： An ink-jet printing apparatus printing apparatus prints an image with a plurality of similar color inks having different concentrations and a special ink having a single concentration. In the apparatus, graininess resulting from ink dots is decreased for all hues of the printed image. A decision is made as to whether or not a hue of an image to be printed can be printed with inks without the special ink of a color (for example, special color BL (blue)) having a single concentration. When it is decided that the hue of the image is to be printed with inks without the special color ink, data on ink color BL (blue) is decomposed into data on C (cyan) and data on M (magenta). The hue can be printed without the color BL, thereby significantly decreasing graininess in a portion having this hue.

摘要： A serial type ink jet printing apparatus for textile printing sets a print beginning position and a print ending position so that the space between the print beginning position and the print ending position is wider than the textile printing medium. When the printing operation is performed, a small amount of ink is discharged from an ink jet head onto a textile support member before the head reaches the textile printing medium, by which ink with high viscosity can be exhausted in a continuous printing operation before printing on the textile. Therefore, the textile can be efficiently printed entirely from edge to edge with high quality, and a separate ink receiver for receiving the preliminarily discharged ink is rendered unnecessary.

摘要： A method of and an apparatus for recording an image on a recording medium. A heat-sensitive sheet having a light-transmissive base sheet provided with a heat-fusible supercooled substance layer is made to abut a copy original such that the heat-fusible supercooled substance layer faces the original image to be copied while flashlight is projected onto the base sheet of the heat-sensitive sheet. Thus, the image portion of the copy original to be copied absorbs the light transmitted through the heat-sensitive sheet and thereby generates heat so that an adhesive area containing a pattern corresponding to the original image is formed on the supercooled substance layer. After the heat-sensitive sheet has been removed from the copy original, such an adhesive area is transferred to the recording medium owing to the adhesiveness of the adhesive area.

A gap communicates with the space between the movable and fixed cores, while at least one opening in the body of the spool valve communicates the interior of the spool valve with the step portion. An intermediate plate in the form of an annular plate with a plurality of radial grooves can be arranged between the main body and the sleeve.
