摘要： A low melting enamel frit which comprises 31 to 39 wt % of SiO.sub.2, 13 to 21 wt % of B.sub.2 O.sub.3, 14 to 21 wt % of Na.sub.2 O, 1 to 5 wt % of K.sub.2 O, 5 to 20 wt % of ZnO, 2 to 10 wt % of F.sub.2 and 2 to 9 wt % of at least one of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, ZrO.sub.2 and TiO.sub.2 provided that at least one intermediate oxide is present in an amount of 5 wt % in a maximum. The frit is capable of firing at temperatures lower than A.sub.1 transformation temperature of steel, say, 723.degree. C.

摘要： The present invention discloses an improved supported catalyst for gas purification which comprises a catalyst carrier composed of a molded body including alumina cement having a CaO component in an amount of less than 40% by weight, an Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 component in an amount of more than 35% by weight and an iron oxide component in an amount of less than 20% by weight. Additionally, catalytic materials and auxiliary materials may be added, depending on necessity. A platinum group metal is then supported on the catalyst carrier. There is also disclosed a method for manufacturing such catalyst. .Iadd.

摘要： A liquid fuel combustion apparatus for evaporating and vaporizing kerosene, gas oil or like liquid fuel by heating, admixing air with the vaporized fuel in a specified ratio and burning the resulting gaseous mixture in a combustion unit. The vaporizer for the liquid fuel comprises a liquid fuel drawing-up member (15) made of a heat-resistant porous body (8) or heat-resistant inorganic fiber fabric (9) for drawing up the liquid fuel, and a heat generating member (6) including coating layers (22, 23) of heat-resistant metal, heat-resistant alloy or heat-resistant metallic oxide for giving heat to the drawing-up member. To prevent formation of tar-like substances, a catalyst is preferably deposited on the surface of the drawing-up member and/or on the surface of the heat generating member. Further preferably, the outer periphery of the heat generating member (6) is in contact with the drawing-up member (5). The apparatus assures stable combustion over a prolonged period of time and is useful as a heater, kitchen range or the like.

摘要： The present invention relates to an environmental condition sensor which is used to detect temperature etc., which sensor comprises an environmental condition sensor proper (1, 3,or 7), and a gas permeable structure (2 or 5) comprising .gamma.-MnO.sub.2, (Zn--Mn--FeO.sub.x) , and mAl.sub.2 O.sub.3.nCaO as the main composition thereof or an enamel layer (9) comprising .gamma.-MnO.sub.2, (Zn--Mn--FeOx), (.alpha.-Al.sub.2 O.sub.3.zeorite), and frit as the main composition thereof, which structure or layer surrounds the environmental condition sensor proper, so that carbon in oily smake and uncombustion gas striking the structure burns to prevent the oily smake and carbon from adhering to the environmental condition sensor proper (1, 3 or 7), whereby the degradation of the characteristics of the environmental condition sensor proper is avoided.
