Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to systems, methods, and computer program products for presenting an offer to a consumer based on account balance information and consumer location information. In some embodiments, a method is provided that includes: (a) receive geographic location information associated with the mobile computing device of the consumer; (b) receive information associated with the credit account of the consumer, wherein the consumer is a holder of the credit account; (c) determine whether the balance value of the credit account has an existing balance value greater than zero; and (d) present, via the mobile computing device of the consumer, the offer to the consumer based at least in part on determining that the geographic location of the mobile device of the consumer is proximate to or coincident with a location of the merchant and determining that the existing balance value of the credit account associated with the merchant is greater than zero.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for providing offers to one or more customers associated with a federated network of retailers. Embodiments determine that one or more customers associated with the federated network of retailers are in proximity to a retailer physical location associated with a retailer that is a member of the federated network of retailers; and present an offer to one or more of the federated network customers in proximity to the retailer. In some embodiments, determining comprises recognizing a mobile device is associated with a customer of at least one retailer that is a member of the federated network of retailers. Some embodiments determine that a customer in proximity to the location is not a customer of the retailer associated with the location and is a customer associated with the network; and present the offer based on the determination.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to systems, methods, and computer program products for determining an offer based on a balance value of a prepaid account and a location of a consumer who is the holder of the prepaid account. In some embodiments, a method is provided that includes: (a) receiving geographic location information associated with a consumer; (b) receiving information associated with the prepaid account of the consumer, wherein the consumer is a holder of the prepaid account; (c) determining a balance value of the prepaid account of the consumer; and (d) determining an offer to present to the consumer based at least partially on the balance value of the prepaid account and the location of the consumer.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for providing interaction efficiency information to a customer. Embodiments determine that the customer is traveling to or is currently located in proximity to a financial institution physical location; determine interaction efficiency information associated with the financial institution physical location; and provide the determined interaction efficiency information to the customer. The interaction efficiency information may include information related to one or more wait times at the financial institution physical location, where the one or more wait times include a wait time for a drive through station outside the financial institution physical location and a wait time for a teller inside the financial institution physical location. In some embodiments, the interaction efficiency information includes one or more visual representations of one or more wait lines associated with one or more stations of the financial institution physical location.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer program products provide for generating a social network-based wish list of products desired by members of the social network and which are authorized to be purchased by other members of the social network on behalf of the member requesting the product. The present invention provides for automatically notifying a member of the social network that they are currently located at physical location, such as a retail store or the like, that currently has available one or more of the products on the wish list. The notifications may take the form of alerts communicated on the member's mobile communication device. Automatic notification occurs via a mobile communication device that is capable of identifying current location, determining that the current location has products available, and determine that one or more of the products currently available at the location are currently listed on the wish list.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for providing a notification to a consumer based on the location of the consumer. The system includes a computer apparatus including a processor and a memory; and a software module stored in the memory. The software module includes executable instructions that cause the processor to receive a goal corresponding to a specific product a consumer desires to purchase; determine a location associated with a mobile device of the consumer; identify a merchant that is located at or near the location associated with the mobile device of the consumer; determine whether the merchant offers for sale the specific product associated with the goal; provide a notification to the mobile device associated with the consumer based at least in part on determining that the merchant offers for sale the product, the notification comprising information related to the user's progress towards the goal.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention relate to systems, methods, and computer program products for targeting financial institution channel migration away from first channel, such as banking centers and towards other transaction channels using banking representative-personalized recommendation alerts. In this regard the present invention serves to inform and encourage financial institution customers to use other more optimal financial institution channels for conducting transactions. Once recommendations for alternative transaction channels have been determined, alerts are generated and communicated within a selected time frame after the banking center transaction has been conducted. In addition to the recommendations, the alert is personalized by the banking center representative that assisted the customer, so as to further gain the attention of the customer. Moreover, the alerts may include further information to encourage the customer to use the recommendations, such as directions to the alternative financial institution channels, instructions for using the alternative channels and the like.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for split-screen functionality to be provided to a user device during a hold period prior to a customer-service video conference. Specifically, according to defined embodiments, the present invention provides for a first portion of split-screen includes a visual depiction of a queue of users currently awaiting a video conference with the customer-service associate. The queue allows for the user/customer to gauge how long the hold period will last. In addition to the visual depiction of the hold queue, the split screen may provide for other portions of the screen to include other information and/or functionality such as, such as information related or unrelated to the impending video conference.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a memory may store information associated with an asset. A processor communicatively coupled to the memory may receive a request to transfer the asset upon the occurrence of an event. The processor may further determine at least one of an appropriate titling and an appropriate beneficiary designation of the asset based at least in part upon the asset and the event and apply at least one of the appropriate titling and the appropriate beneficiary designation to the asset.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for providing suggested transaction categories based on location. The system includes a computer apparatus including a processor and a memory; and a software module stored in the memory. The software module includes executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to determine a location of a user; access a database including a plurality of locations and associated transaction categories; determine at least one category associated with the location of the user using the database; and provide the at least one category to the user so that the user may categorize a transaction. In some embodiments, the system determines the category based on a combination of the location and a characteristic of the transaction or a previous input by the user. The system assists users in categorizing transactions so that the user is better able to track spending.
