    摘要: A ventilated toilet for removing odors from the toilet base includes a unitary molded tank assembly with an integral ventilation cavity formed along the base and the back inside of the water tank. At least one water channel connects a water inlet chamber of the base to the water tank and is configured to channel water into the base when released from the tank, as well as to provide an airflow conduit for odors present in the base to be removed from the base via the ventilation cavity. A flush valve extends through the ventilation cavity to connect the tank and the base, and is sealed in attachment to eliminate egress of odors. The system permits substantial elimination of odors at flush volumes of 1.6, 1.3 or 0.8 gallons per flush by virtue of the enhanced seals and unitary construction. A toilet water tank assembly in accordance with the invention is also disclosed.

An example first or main filter cartridge is described which includes a media pack comprising strips of fluted material secured to facing sheets, oriented in a stack. The media pack defines opposite inlet and outlet flow faces, with flutes extending in a direction therebetween. The media pack is non-removably secured within a filter cartridge housing, at a location between opposite sections of a shell, typically secured thereto with an adhesive. The shell also defines a closed end, spaced from, but in overlap with, the outlet end face of the media pack. The closed end is typically curved and the shell typically provides either a d/b-shape or a u-shape.

    摘要: A method of shortening cycle time required to compression mold shingle or tile is provided, wherein carrier plates are comprised of a surface material and a base, and receive a thermoplastic material, thereon. The roofing material is applied to the carrier plate and the carrier plate is subjected to induction heating, by which its surface material has its temperature raised, without substantially raising the temperature of the carrier plate base, such that the thermoplastic material applied thereto is kept heated in the compression mold. Cooling of the thermoplastic material is by heat transfer from the carrier plate surface material to the carrier plate base, and with both materials having good heat conduction capability. The carrier plate surface material has a high receptivity to being heated by induction heating relative the carrier plate base. The carrier plates are serially delivered through the process, to the compression mold.
