摘要: The invention relates to the integration of an energy function into a light management system, particularly for saving energy and monitoring energy consumption. According to an embodiment of the invention, a light management system (10) with an integrated energy function is provided, wherein the system is adapted to receiving energy information about light fixtures (12-16) of a lighting system (18), and to processing the received energy information with regard to energy consumption of the lighting system (18). The energy function may be for example used to automatically configure a lighting system to low energy consumption, to allow further configurations of the lighting system with regard to lowering energy consumption, or to provide a user with a sensible set of lights that can be turned off and will amount to significant energy savings when turned off.

摘要: A device and method are described for a color-controlled backlit display device (100), which device and method employ a feedback-detected color value that is processed so as to equal the output light of the display. The device comprises a plurality of light sources (103), a light output unit (101) comprising a display element (106), a first color-rendering optical element (105), a color control unit (104), a first light-mixing device (102), and a light detection unit (107) comprising a color sensor (108). The color control unit controls the light generated by means of the light sources on the basis of a nominal predefined color value and the detected color value, wherein the generated light is mixed by the first light-mixing device and passed through the light output unit. A minor part of the mixed generated light is detected by the light detection unit, which generates the detected color value that is fed back to the color control unit. The light detection unit further comprises a second color-rendering optical element (109) for processing the light entering the color sensor so as to equal the light leaving the light output unit.

The apparatus comprises: first and second substrates spaced apart from each other; a first array of electrodes formed on a surface of the first substrate; at least one electrode formed on the surface of the second substrate facing the first array of electrodes. The at least one electrode and the first array of electrodes thereby define the upper and lower bounds of an analysis volume for receiving the fluid, the analysis volume comprising an array of volume portions. Circuitry is arranged to modify the amplitude and duration of a voltage applied to at least the first array of electrodes so as to generate and modify an electric field in one or more volume portions of the device. Thus, the 10 electroporation properties of the cells may be investigated by generating electric fields of different amplitudes or durations in one or more volume portions of the apparatus with the fluid placed therein.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for controlling an illumination device (100), the illumination device (100) comprising a flux sensing unit (101) and at least two differently colored light sources (102, 103, 104), the method comprising the steps of switching on and off each of the light sources according to a predefined pattern, acquiring measurement values by means of the flux sensing unit at predetermined intervals in accordance with the predefined pattern, calculating a color point for each of the light sources based on the measurement values, calculating a difference between the color points and corresponding reference color points, and adjusting an analog current drive level of the light sources, wherein the difference is minimized such that a desired color is obtained. The present invention provides for the possibilities to in a more accurate way correct for the color changes due to change in drive current, temperature, and aging effects. Furthermore, the control method according to the present invention does not require a factory calibration, or knowledge of batch specific binning information, for obtaining the current or temperature related characteristics of the light sources, which significantly reduces the cost normally related to factory calibration and batch specific binning information. Furthermore, the present invention relates to an illumination device (100) comprising means for performing such a method.

The planar resonators each include a central conductor (30), such as a circular plate and an annular ring (32) surrounding and co-planar with the central conductor. Radial rungs (33) connect and are co-planar with the central conductor and annular ring. Capacitors (34), preferably numbering in the thousands, interrupt the rungs.

Two or more MR signals are recorded in parallel from the examination volume via two or more receiving channels (R, S) of the MR device using an HF coil arrangement (9), which comprises a number of coil elements (15, 16) which is greater than the number of receiving channels (R, S), wherein the respective MR signal on each receiving channel (R, S) is formed by weighted superimposition of coil signals (A, B, C, D, B) of the individual coil elements (15, 16). An MR image is reconstructed from the recorded MR signals, the MR signals being combined with one another taking into account effective spatial sensitivity profiles associated with the individual receiving channels (R, S).
