摘要： A fuel supply system includes a fuel pump 2 and a housing 1 that are disposed within a fuel tank 6. A damping material 50 is disposed on an upper end portion of a sidewall of the housing 1. The damping material 50 reduces the transmission of vibrations generated by the fuel pump 2 from to the fuel tank 6 to thereby prevent the fuel tank from vibrating. The damping material 50 may include an elastic material having a specific gravity of 0.12 to 0.4. Alternatively, the damping material 50 may include a fuel-resistant paper material.

摘要： In a fuel filter module for introducing fuel from a fuel inlet into a casing and for removing foreign matter from the fuel by passing the fuel through a fuel member and for discharging the fuel through a fuel outlet to the outside of the casing, and the casing is formed to have a D-shaped cross section. With this construction, the outer diameter of the casing is not increased even when an accessory is assembled on the outside plane wall of the D-shaped casing. The casing accommodates a filter member of C-shaped cross section. The center of a C-shaped sealing member provided for sealing the upper edge of the filter member is offset from the center of the casing. By thus offsetting, sufficient areas for fuel inlet and outlet can be ensured without increasing the size of the casing.

摘要： A method of polishing the end face of a ferrule comprises providing an optical connector having the ferrule and an optical fiber fixed to the ferrule. An abrasive sheet film is provided which comprises a resin film having a layer of alumina type particles disposed on a surface thereof. The end face of the ferrule is polished by pressing it against the abrasive sheet film and sliding the end face of the ferrule relative the abrasive sheet film while supplying an abrasive comprised of colloidal particles of SiO.sub.2 on the surface of the abrasive sheet film.

摘要： A liquid developer for electrostatic photography comprising resin grains dispersed in a non-aqueous solvent having a volume specific resistivity of at least 10.sup.9 .OMEGA.cm, wherein the resin grains are obtained by polymerizing (a) at least one monomer selected from methyl methacrylate and ethyl methacrylate soluble in said non-aqueous solvent and (b) at least one monomer selected from acrylic acid esters and methacrylic acid esters having an alkyl group having not more than 4 carbon atoms which are soluble in the non-aqueous solvent but become insoluble therein by being polymerized, in the presence of a dispersion stabilizing resin which is dissolved or dispersed in a colloidal form in the non-aqueous solvent and which mainly comprises a graft copolymer composed of(1) at least one macromonomer (M) having a weight-average molecular weight of 1.times.10.sup.3 to 1.times.10.sup.5, and having a polymerizable double bond group bonded to one terminal of the main chain of the polymer composed of at least one of a styrene polymer component and a polymer component of formula (I) defined above, and(2) at least one monomer represented by formula (III) defined above.The liquid developer is excellent in dispersion stability, and toner images having resist with high resistivity to etching solutions can be formed in electrostatic photography.
