摘要： A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a device are provided. The method and the apparatus can form micro wiring without undesired wetting and spreading using an inexpensive functional-liquid supplying method. A method for forming a device, such as a radiofrequency identification tag, includes: making patterns at a plurality of sections having different degrees of affinity to the functional liquid on a substrate to form the device; and supplying the functional liquid to the selected section having high affinity to the functional liquid. Forming the plurality of sections having different degrees of affinity to the functional liquid includes;, for example: supplying an organosiloxane film on the substrate, and exposing the organosiloxane film through an optical mask.

摘要： The invention reduces the use of material for light-emitting elements in the production of a display apparatus. In a display apparatus, a plurality of light-emitting devices are arranged. Each light-emitting device is composed of a light-emitting unit and a driving circuit. The light-emitting unit includes a cathode, a transparent anode serving as a pixel electrode, and light-emitting elements interposed between the cathode and the anode. The driving circuit feeds a driving current to the anode. Further, an auxiliary electrode is disposed on at least one surface of the anode and is branched off from a feeding point of the driving circuit. The light-emitting elements are only disposed in regions adjacent to the auxiliary electrode, while light-transmitting members are disposed in the other regions distant from the auxiliary electrode.

An inside-nozzle lyophobic film is formed in the vicinity of the ejection opening and on the inside wall of the nozzle, the inside-nozzle lyophobic film providing a large difference between an advancing contact angle and a receding contact angle for the liquid to be ejected.
