    摘要： The present invention discloses a method of automatically detecting and tracking a face by an electronic capturing device that alternatively uses a face detecting algorithm to quickly locate a face in a frame based on a skin color model and a face tracking algorithm to locate a face in subsequent frames by a nonparametric technique and a mean shift algorithm. If the face tracking algorithm cannot track and locate a face correctly, the face detecting algorithm will be used again to detect a face position in another new frame until the face position is located successfully, and then the face tracking algorithm will be used again for detecting and locating the face position in subsequent frames. After this method has detected a face position, a variable focal lens is used to slowly and smoothly refocus the frame including a face region, so as to obtain a clear face image.

    摘要： A sustained release formulation as a unit dose contains 100 mg-1000 mg of Acetaminophen and 15 mg-150 mg of tramadol hydrochloride, which comprises of 1) an immediate release portion comprising of 25%-75% of the total effective amount of drug in the dosage form and 2) a sustained release portion comprising of a) 25%-75% of the total effective amount of drugs in the dosage form; b) 6%-50% of gelling polymers of the total formulation, and c) optionally an enteric coating at a level of 5%-40% of the total formulation. The set forth formulation dissolves 25%-60% of the total drug in the first hour, 50%-90% of the total drug in the first four hours and not less than 80% of the total drug in the first 12 hours using USP dissolution method II at 50 rpm.

    摘要： In a particular embodiment a VDSL repeater is disclosed. The VDSL repeater includes a first interface for receiving data from an IPTV network node; a second interface for sending data to an end user client device; and an amplifier in electrical communication with the first interface for amplifying data received on the first interface from the IPTV network node when a power supply voltage is present on the first interface, wherein the amplifier sends the amplified data received on the first interface to the second interface. In another aspect of a particular embodiment the VDSL repeater further includes a circuit that bypasses the amplifier when the power supply voltage is not present on the first interface. In another particular embodiment a method for amplifying a VDSL signal when a power supply voltage is present on the twisted pair using the power supply voltage is disclosed.

    摘要： A transmitter may instruct a receiver to move a receive window if the transmitter cannot retransmit a packet in response to an automatic repeat request (ARQ) status report and a hybrid ARQ (HARQ) feedback error report. The transmitter may advance a transmit window upon receipt of a local acknowledgement if the packet is in an ongoing flow and advance the transmit window when the packet is acknowledged by a status report if the packet is an isolated packet. The transmitter may perform a retransmission based on context in which the retransmission is requested. The transmitter may send an acknowledgement to the status report or the HARQ feedback error report. The transmitter may specify whether an HARQ feedback error report or a status report is allowed. The receiver may adjust the level of robustness and error protection for the HARQ feedback based on an indication from the transmitter.

    摘要： A method and system for supporting multiple hybrid automatic repeat request (H-ARQ) processes per transmission time interval (TTI) are disclosed. A transmitter and a receiver include a plurality of H-ARQ processes to transmit and receive multiple transport blocks (TBs) simultaneously per TTI. The transmitter generates a plurality of TBs and assigns the TBs to multiple H-ARQ processes. The transmitter sends control information for the TBs and H-ARQ processes associated with the TBs to the receiver. The transmitter then sends the TBs using multiple H-ARQ processes simultaneously per TTI. After receiving the TBs, the receiver sends feedback to each of the TBs indicating successful or unsuccessful receipt of each of the TBs to the transmitter. The control information and the feedback may be sent via a layer 1 or layer 2/3 control part.
