    Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for an access and mobility management function (AMF) transmitting and receiving a signal related to a handover from 5GS to an evolved packet system (EPS) of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system the method comprising a step in which the AMF receives a handover required message from a next-generation radio access network (NG-RAN); a step in which the AMF requests a session management (SM) context to a packet data network gateway+session management function (PGW+SMF); a step of receiving an SM context from the PGW+SMF; and a step in which the AMF transmits a handover command to the NG-RAN, wherein the SM context request is for a PDU session associated with 3GPP access among a plurality of protocol data unit (PDU) sessions.

    Abstract: A method for selecting a serving AMF of a network node in a wireless communication system includes receiving a registration request message of a user equipment (UE), the registration request message including a network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) for a slice requested by the UE and priority information of the NSSAI; determining whether the NSSAI is valid for the UE; when the NSSAI is valid for the UE, searching a first AMF which is able to support the NSSAI based on the priority information; and when the first AMF is searched, selecting the first AMF as the serving AMF serving the UE and transmitting the registration request message to the first AMF.

    Abstract: A disclosure of the present specification provides a method in which a network node processes an access request from a user equipment (UE). The method may comprise the steps of: receiving an access request message from a UE; and selecting a control plane (CP) function node on the basis of information associated with the UE, in response to the access request message. Here, the selected CP function node may perform a common or basic function, which is shared among slice instances of a network. Each slice instance may include a service-specific or non-common CP function node, which is not shared with other slice instances. The method may include a step of transferring the access request message to the selected CP function node.
