Methods and devices are provided for wavefront treatments of an eye's astigmatism, coma, and presbyopia. Wavefront-engineered monofocal lenses, inducing spherical aberration into the eye's central pupil, provide vision correction beyond 20/20 acuity and improve quality of vision by eliminating image distortion caused by uncorrected astigmatism and coma in the eye. New presbyopia-correcting lenses, including Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) bifocal, EDOF trifocal, and quasi-accommodating lenses, are disclosed for presbyopia corrections between +0.75 D to +3.25 D, and they are achieved by inducing a positive spherical aberration and a positive focus offset less than 3 Diopters in a central section plus a negative spherical aberration in an annular section within a central part of a monofocal lens. These wavefront lenses can be adapted for contact lenses, implantable contact lenses, Intraocular Lenses (IOLs), phakic IOLs, accommodating IOLs, corneal inlays, as well as eyepieces for Virtual Reality (VR) displays, game goggles, microscopes, telescopes.

In some embodiments, the tumor is melanoma. In some embodiments the method includes selecting a subject with primary or secondary resistance to a BRAF inhibitor. In further embodiments, treating the tumor comprises decreasing the metastasis of the tumor. In additional embodiments, the BRAF inhibitor comprises PLX4032 or PLX4720.

Loaded memory elements may each provide a static output control signal that configures a programmable logic transistor in programmable logic. The memory elements may be powered with an elevated voltage during normal operation. Boosted address signals may be used when addressing the memory array. The address decoder may contain circuitry that is responsive to a clear control signal and an address output enable signal. The memory element array may be cleared by asserting the clear control signal and address output enable signal.

An approach is provided for cell selection or reselection in a multi-radio network environment involving at least two different radio access technologies. A service preference information which indicates service preferences for different radio access technologies can be set at a network element and be sent to at least one terminal device. At the terminal device, the service preference information is detected and a serving cell is selected based on the detected service preference information. Thereby, the network is capable of performing service-based control of cell selection or reselection of the terminal device upon initiating access for a certain service in an overlaid multi-RAT environment. This in turn enhances network utility, operation and performance.
