Abstract: This disclosure describes example alarm notification systems that can enable a clinician to respond to an alarm notification received via a computing device, which may have more advanced functionality than a pager. The clinician device may be a mobile device, such as a cellphone or smartphone, tablet, laptop, personal digital assistant (PDA), or the like. The clinician device may communicate with a remote server to obtain patient data generated by a patient device at the point-of-care (such as a bedside device or patient-worn monitor). This patient data may be continuous monitoring data for one or more patients. A mobile application (optionally a browser application) on the clinician device can enable the clinician to view continuous monitoring data for multiple patients, as well as view and respond to alarms and alerts, all from the clinician device, regardless of location.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for remote patient management and monitoring. The patient is monitored with a wireless sensor system connected to an application executing on a patient user computing device. The system continuously monitors physiological parameters, such as, but not limited to, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate, perfusion index, pleth variability index, and/or respiration rate from the photoplethysmograph. The system triggers alarms if the patient physiological data violates thresholds. Care providers review patient data and associated alarm(s) with graphical user interfaces.

Abstract: A patient monitoring system can have a display screen or portion thereof with graphic user interface for displaying indications of a patient's oxygen state. The indications can include the patient's SpO2, dissolved oxygen index, and/or an increasing or decreasing trend of dissolved oxygen index. The displays of oxygen state indications can be compact, and/or able to provide direct visual information to a user of various aspects of the patient's oxygen state. The display elements can be used to represent any other physiological parameters.

Abstract: A physiological patient monitoring system with a patient-facing interface is disclosed. The patient interface can be used by the patient to communicate with hospital staff without actually requesting attendance and can request attendance for specific purposes. The patient interface may also track patient treatment and inform patients of the details of their treatments.

Abstract: A portable spot-check system configured to assess the validity of a measured physiological parameter. The spot-check device can take into consideration a variety of factors to determine whether a valid measurement exists. For instance, the considerations can include signal stability, interference, signal IQ, patient movement, sensor position, timing of that measurement, comparison to previous or acceptable measurements, cancellation of measurement by the patient, confidence of the measurement, etc. The spot-check device can track a number of valid measurements. In some instances, the spot-check device is configured to provide a specified number of available measurements. If a valid measurement is recorded, the spot-check device can decrement the remaining number of available measurements.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes a host device that is part of a patient monitoring system. The host device can provide an improved, organized, uncluttered, and graphically-rich display that presents an integrated display of real-time patient data and alarms from multiple integrated or non-integrated devices, such as patient monitors, ventilators, anesthesia gas machines, or intravenous (IV) pumps. The host device may provide a supplementary display for the patient data collected by the multiple devices and present information, such as comprehensive real-time patient status, historical trends, or alarm indicators, in an organized manner for particular clinical scenarios. The one or more displays can be central to a care team for a patient, and the care team can together simultaneously view and act upon the information presented.

Abstract: A regional oximetry system has a display and at least one processor causing a plurality of views to be displayed on the display, each configured to occupy at least a portion of the display. The views are adapted to present data responsive to at least one physiological signal. A first sensor port is configured to receive at least a first physiological signal representative of a regional tissue oxygenation level, and a second sensor port is configured to receive at least a second physiological signal representative of an arterial oxygen saturation level. One view presents a first trend graph of the first physiological signal and a second trend graph of the second physiological signal. An area between the first trend graph and the second trend graph can include a differential analysis of regional-to-central oxygen saturation.
