    摘要: A silver halide photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one of a surface latent image type silver halide emulsion layer and other hydrophilic colloid layers is disclosed, in which said at least one of the emulsion layer and other hydrophilic colloid layers contains a compound represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein X represents ##STR2## R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being converted to a hydrogen atom on hydrolysis; R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent group; R.sub.5 and R.sub.6, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylsulfonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted arylsulfonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylcarbonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted arylcarbonyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted carbamoyl group; Y represents a group which accelerates adsorption onto silver halide grains; L represents a divalent linking group; and m represents 0 or 1.The photographic material has suitability for rapid processing and markedly improved abrasion resistance without undergoing reduction in sensitivity.
