    摘要: A computer system having resistance to timing attacks based on measuring processing times is offered. The computer system encrypts or decrypts a plain text or ciphertext via a process of converting the partial data on the plain text or the encrypted text into conversion data. A conversion table includes one piece of conversion data corresponding to the partial data at the start position of the line table area and includes data not associated with the conversion in the other position. A computer program includes: an operation instruction group for calculating the predetermined position of the corresponding conversion data in the conversion table by using the acquired partial data; and a read instruction group for reading out the conversion data from the position calculated from the conversion table.

    摘要: To provide a contents linkage information delivery system for use by a content provider to deliver contents in a manner that a user is allowed to acquire, according to a user request, a content that relates to another content. The present invention is directed to a contents linkage information delivery system for delivering a related content that is associated with another content. The contents linkage information delivery system is composed of a first playback apparatus for playing back the other content, a server for transmitting the related content, and a second playback apparatus for playing back the related content. The first playback apparatus, the server, and the second playback apparatus mutually communicate via a communications channel. The first playback apparatus includes a playback position information acquisition unit for acquiring time-base playback position information of the other content, a request input unit for receiving a user request, and a first transmission unit for transmitting the time-base playback position information. The server includes a first reception unit for receiving the time-base playback position information transmitted from the first playback apparatus, a related content acquisition unit for acquiring the related content based on the time-base playback position information, and a second transmission unit for transmitting the related content. The second playback apparatus includes a second reception unit for receiving the related content transmitted from the server, and a first output unit for outputting the related content.

    摘要: To aim to provide a monitoring system and a program execution apparatus that are capable of maintaining the security intensity even in the case where an unauthentic install module is invalidated. Install modules included in an apparatus each monitor an install module, which is a monitoring target indicated by a monitoring pattern included therein, as to whether the install module performs malicious operations. An install module that performs malicious operations is invalidated in accordance with an instruction from an update server. The monitoring patterns are restructured by the update server such that the install modules except the invalidated install module are each monitored by at least another one of the install modules. The restructured monitoring patterns are distributed to the install modules except the invalidated install module.

The transmission device includes: key obtaining unit that obtains, from reception device, public keys and public key identifiers; watermark embedding unit that embeds a different public key identifier, as electronic watermark, into each of contents that are identical in substance; an encryption unit that encrypts contents using public keys to generate encrypted contents; and transmission unit that transmits encrypted contents to reception device. The reception device includes: key storage unit storing public keys, public key identifiers, and a private key that makes a pair with one of the public keys; key transmission unit that transmits public keys and public key identifiers to the transmission device; content receiving unit that receives encrypted contents from transmission device; and decryption unit that obtains a content from the received encrypted contents, using the private key.

    摘要: An encryption apparatus prevents plaintext data from leaking even if accumulated data is analyzed, while preventing the size of encrypted data from increasing. The encryption apparatus encrypts a data piece that is smaller than a unit length and stores management information indicating a used area within an encryption area defined based on the unit length. The used area is an area already used for encryption. When encrypting a new data piece that is smaller than the unit length, the encryption apparatus generates encrypted data by adding the new data piece to an unused area within the encryption area with reference to the management information. The unused area is an area not yet used for encryption. The encryption apparatus updates the management information to include an area for the new data piece into the used area, after generating the encrypted data.

    摘要: In order to allow a user to backup data, a backup system is used to transfer data from an information terminal to a backup device via a relay device. The information terminal includes a storing unit storing the data to be backed up, and includes a communication unit transmitting the data to the relay device and transferring condition information indicating a condition to be satisfied by the relay device. Further, the relay device includes (i) a storing unit storing information relating to transfer destination devices, (ii) a receiving unit receiving the data and the transfer condition information, and (iii) a transfer control unit selecting a transfer destination device that satisfies the condition indicated by the transfer condition information, and controlling transfer of the received data in accordance with the selection. The backup device includes a receiving unit receiving the data transferred by the relay device, and a storing unit storing the received data.

    摘要: A system, which minimizes a time delay caused by one device being unable to access a recording medium until access by another device ends, when transcoding is performed by distributed processing, includes a main device transcoding each coded piece allocated to itself from among a plurality of coded pieces of a digital stream, and writing a transcoding result onto the recording medium, in a pipeline. While the recording device is performing the transcoding and the writing, an auxiliary device transcodes each coded piece allocated to itself one by one. Having completed the transcoding of all coded pieces allocated to itself, the auxiliary device transmits its transcoding results to the recording device and has the recording device write the transcoding results onto the recording medium which is a copy destination.
