摘要： An image transmission device including a content compression unit configured to compress an image signal, a wireless transmission unit configured to wirelessly transmit the compressed image signal to an image reception device, and a processor configured to switch a power mode of the image transmission device to a low power mode based on a determination that an image signal is not being received from an external source or that an ambient brightness at the image reception device is less than a preset brightness, and control the content compression unit to increase a compression rate of the image signal in the low power mode.

摘要： An electronic device that obtains a set of remote-control commands is described. During operation, the electronic device may receive an image associated with a second electronic device, where a brand and a model of the second electronic device are initially unknown to the electronic device. Then, the electronic device may perform image analysis on the image to determine at least the brand of the second electronic device. Moreover, the electronic device may access, based at least in part on the determined brand, the set of remote-control commands that are associated with the second electronic device. Next, the electronic device may store the set of remote-control commands in memory. Subsequently, when the electronic device receives user-interface activity information associated with a portable electronic device that specifies selection of the second electronic device, the electronic device may provide the set of remote-control commands to the second electronic device.

摘要： An AVR device in accordance with one or more embodiments connects audio and video source devices to audio and video rendering devices. A front panel user interface including a display is integrated in the housing of the AVR device. Input-output (IO) modules are coupled to a backplane board in the housing to be connected to the source devices and the rendering devices. The IO modules include at least one network interface. System-on-Modules (SoMs) are mounted on the backplane board. The SoMs are configured to decode and process audio and video data received from the audio and video source devices for rendering by the audio and video rendering devices and execute an operating system generating a GUI displayed on the display of the front panel user interface. A video subsystem module on the backplane board is configured to route the audio and video data between the plurality of SoMs and the IO modules.

An example embodiment operates by detecting a segment of a data stream to be output by a media device and generating a fingerprint of digital content corresponding to the segment using automatic content recognition (ACR). The example embodiment further operates by comparing the fingerprint with a plurality of fingerprints of a plurality of digital content, identifying a matched fingerprint of a matched digital content, and comparing metadata of the matched digital content with metadata of a restricted digital content. The example embodiment further operates by determining that the digital content corresponding to the segment is blocked from being output by the media stream and replacing the digital content with new digital content in the segment.
