Abstract: In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, via a first radio access technology (RAT), system information that identifies a set of frequencies of a second RAT and one or more available multicast or broadcast (MB) services. The UE may trigger a switch from a first multicast radio bearer (MRB), of the first RAT, to a first unicast dedicated radio bearer (DRB), of the first RAT, for reception of an MB service via the first RAT. The UE may transmit an indication that indicates the MB service or a frequency via which the MB service is available via the second RAT. The UE may receive an MRB configuration associated with receiving the MB service via a target base station using the second RAT. The UE may switch from a second unicast DRB, of the second RAT, to a second MRB, of the second RAT, after handover.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, otherwise known as a user equipment (UE) may transmit a random access message (e.g., a message 3) associated with a random access procedure. A hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback may be disabled for the random access procedure. The UE may initiate a contention resolution window associated with the random access procedure for a first downlink data channel transmission of a set of downlink data channel transmissions associated with the random access procedure. The UE may receive, during the contention resolution window, the first downlink data channel transmission carrying a contention resolution medium access control-control element (MAC-CE). The UE may transmit acknowledgment information for the first downlink data channel transmission carrying the contention resolution MAC-CE based on an indication to enable the HARQ feedback.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a first common frequency resource (CFR) within a bandwidth part (BWP) and a second CFR within the BWP. Accordingly, the UE may receive, using a first numerology, a non-group-common communication at least partially in the BWP. The UE may also receive, using the first numerology, a group-common communication at least partially in the first CFR, and receive, using a second numerology, a group-common communication at least partially in the second CFR. As an alternative, the UE may receive an indication of a CFR within a BWP. Accordingly, the UE may receive, using a first numerology, a non-group-common communication in the BWP and a first group-common communication in the CFR, and receive, using a second numerology, a second group-common communication in the CFR. The UE may receive, from the base station, the MBS PDSCH scheduled by the DCI. The UE may transmit, to the base station and based at least in part on the indication, hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback in accordance with the first PDSCH processing capability or the second PDSCH processing capability.
