A wireless device, such as a base station or a user equipment, may identify an energy detection threshold for a sensing beam associated with a channel access procedure, such as a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure. The wireless device may also identify a set of transmit power parameters for one or more transmit beams. The wireless device may determine a degree of overlap between a coverage area of one or more transmit beams and a coverage area of the sensing beam. The wireless device may adjust the set of transmit power parameters, the energy detection threshold, or a combination thereof based on the degree of overlap. The wireless device may perform the channel access procedure based on the determining, the adjusting, or both.

A UE receives, from a base station, a reference signal configuration of a first network of a long-term evolution (LTE) radio access technology (RAT). The UE and the base station are associated with a second network of another RAT. The reference signal configuration indicates at least a number of antenna ports associated with a reference signal of the first network. The UE determines a location of the reference signal associated with the reference signal configuration and receives, from the base station, a data signal of the second network based at least on the location of the reference signal of the first network.

A user equipment (UE) may transmit, via an autonomous uplink communication, one or more transport blocks to a base station. Each transport block may include a plurality of code block groups (CBGs). The base station may provide CBG-level feedback to the UE based at least in part on the autonomous uplink communication. In some examples, the base station may provide the CBG-level feedback in one or more downlink feedback information (DFI) packets. In some other examples, the base station may provide the CBG-level feedback via one or more uplink transmission grants. The UE may retransmit one or more CBGs from the autonomous uplink communication based at least in part on the DFI packets or uplink transmission grants.

摘要: A user equipment apparatus determines whether a transmission is received from a base station within a time window and skips measurement of a reference signal during a subsequent period, when a transmission is received from the base station within the time window. A base station apparatus configures a UE to monitor one or more reference signals associated with a beam pair link and transmits a first signal in a transmission to the UE. The base station determines whether the transmission is received at the UE within a time window and determines whether to transmit a reference signal, based on whether the transmission is received at the UE within the time window. Upon determining that the transmission was received at the UE, the base station may skip transmission of the reference signal or modify a time, a frequency, a power, and/or a reference signal offset for the reference signal.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In systems supporting unlicensed downlink and licensed uplink communications, transmitter-based and/or receiver-based listen-before-talk may be implemented. In a transmitter-based scheme, a base station performs listen-before-talk on a downlink unlicensed band to monitor for signals from other base stations. In a first receiver-based scheme, a user equipment may send a clear to send signal on the licensed uplink channel or unlicensed downlink channel to assist a listen-before-talk operation at a serving base station. In a second receiver-based scheme, the user equipment monitors for downlink preamble transmissions from base stations other than a serving base station and reports detected preambles to the serving base station. The base station may schedule the user equipment based on the reported preambles. In some cases, the serving base station may signal other base stations to back off and reduce interference on the unlicensed downlink spectrum.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for time domain single carrier (SC) waveform communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may generate an SC waveform by resampling (e.g., up-sampling) mapped information bits prior to insertion of a cyclic prefix (CP) or guard interval (GI). Performing resampling prior to CP/GI insertion allows for resource allocation flexibility and a base station may allocate resources for the SC waveform in accordance with this flexibility. For example, a base station may not be limited or restricted to a certain number of resources for SC waveform communications and may therefore determine a resource allocation for the UE based on the capability of the UE to perform resampling prior to CP/GI insertion. The resampling may be performed according to a set of parameters including a resampling ratio, which may be indicated to the UE via control signaling (e.g., from the base station).

In an example aspect, the apparatus includes a multi-band mmW antenna array and RFIC module with a first antenna array, a second antenna array, and at least one radio-frequency front-end integrated circuit. The first antenna array includes at least two first antenna elements and is tuned to a first mmW frequency band. The second antenna array includes at least two second antenna elements and is tuned to a second mmW frequency band. The at least one radio-frequency front-end integrated circuit includes at least two first transceiver chains and at least two second transceiver chains. The at least two first transceiver chains are respectively coupled to the at least two first antenna elements, and the at least two second transceiver chains are respectively coupled to the at least two second antenna elements.
