Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a master node (MN) may receive a message indicating that a user equipment (UE) has determined that a condition for a conditional primary secondary cell (PSCell) change has been satisfied for a candidate target PSCell. The candidate target PSCell may be one of a set of candidate target PSCells associated with the UE in a conditional PSCell change configuration provided by a base station. The MN may transmit, to a source secondary node, a confirmation message associated with the conditional PSCell change. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer-readable storage medium for wireless communication at a first user equipment (UE) is provided. The UE receives an indication of one or more timers associated with a radio resource control (RRC) connection establishment procedure or an RRC connection re-establishment procedure with a network entity via a relay. The UE transmits a request associated with an RRC connection to a second UE to be relayed to the network entity and monitors for a response from the network entity based on the one or more timers associated with the RRC connection establishment procedure or the RRC connection re-establishment procedure via the second UE as the relay.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a first user equipment (UE) that is out-of-coverage of a base station and a second UE that is in-coverage of the base station may support signaling exchanges for transmitting or receiving a discovery message, an essential system information block (E-SIB), common SIB updates, or on-demand SIBs within a relaying network before and after a relay connection between the first UE and the second UE. The first UE may receive the discovery message and the E-SIB via same or different signaling and may acquire or decode the E-SIB according to various techniques. The first UE may receive common SIB updates via a dedicated logical channel between the first UE and the second UE and the first UE may initiate on-demand SIB acquisition after establishment of the relay connection and based on a connection type of the first UE.

Abstract: A first wireless device establishes a first connection to a second wireless device and establishes a second connection with a network entity via the second wireless device. The first wireless device transmits a message to the network entity via the second wireless device, the message indicating that the second connection is a remote connection. The second wireless device establishes the first connection with the first wireless device to relay traffic between a network entity and the first wireless device and establishes a connection with the network entity to relay the traffic between the network entity and the first wireless device. The second wireless device receives a configuration from the network entity for the second connection between the network entity and the first wireless device for relaying the traffic to the second wireless device.
