    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. A base station and a terminal that perform communication using an unlicensed band may divide a bandwidth part into subbands and may perform a channel access procedure for the respective subbands. A method for configuring a size of the subband and a method for configuring start/end frequency locations of the configured subband in order to perform the channel access procedure more efficiently in a communication system having various bandwidth sizes and subcarrier spacings.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a communication technique for merging, with IoT technology, a 5G communication system for supporting a data transmission rate higher than that of a 4G system, and a system therefor. The present disclosure can he applied to intelligent services (for example, smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, healthcare, digital education, retail, security, and safety-related services, and the like) on the basis of 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology. The purpose of the present invention is to efficiently transmit downlink data in a slot in which a synchronization signal block is transmitted and, according to the present invention, a base station in a communication system checks whether a synchronization signal block and downlink data are transmitted in the same slot, determines a downlink data transmission method when the synchronization signal block and the downlink data are transmitted in the same slot, and transmits the downlink data and a demodulation reference signal for the downlink data to a terminal on the basis of the downlink data transmission method, and the downlink data transmission method can be determined on the basis of at least one of the transmission pattern of the synchronization signal block, the relationship between the synchronization signal block and a subcarrier interval applied to the downlink data, and the index of the slot in which the synchronization signal block is to be transmitted.

The method performed by a terminal includes receiving, from a base station, DCI scheduling a plurality of PDSCHs on a PDCCH, wherein the DCI includes information on a TDRA and information on a TCI state, identifying symbol offsets between the PDCCH and the plurality of PDSCHs based on the TDRA, in case that a first symbol offset between the PDCCH and a first PDSCH is less than a threshold, receiving, from the base station, the first PDSCH based on a default TCI state, and in case that a second symbol offset between the PDCCH and a second PDSCH is equal to or greater than the threshold, receiving, from the base station, the second PDSCH based on the TCI state.

    Abstract: A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system comprises receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from a first serving cell among a plurality of serving cells configured for the terminal, the plurality of serving cells including the first serving cell and a second serving cell for transmitting a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), in case that different processing capabilities are configured for each of the plurality of serving cells, determining a time interval related to a timing at which the PUCCH or the PUSCH is transmitted in the second serving cell, from a last timing at which the PDSCH or the PDCCH is received in the first serving cell, and transmitting the PUCCH or the PUSCH to a base station, based on the determined time interval.
