摘要： In a wireless mobile communications system, a method for transmitting and receiving a measurement report of a mobile terminal is provided. A network transmits a paging message to the mobile terminal for performing the measurement report or transmits a PDU (Protocol Data Unit) having segmented SDU (Service Data Unit). The mobile terminal transmits the measurement report upon receiving the paging message or the PDU having the segmented SDU, thereby utilizing a radio resource effectively.

摘要： A method and system for processing buffer status reports (BSRs) such that when BSR triggering is performed, the size(s) of the necessary sub-header(s) are also to be considered together in addition to the BSR size. The steps of checking whether any padding region is available in a MAC PDU that was constructed, comparing the number of padding bits with the size of the BSR plus its sub-header, and if the number of padding bits is larger than the size of the BSR plus its sub-header, triggering BSR are performed. Doing so allows the sub-header(s) to be inserted or included into the MAC PDU or transport block (TB) or other type of data unit.

摘要： In a wireless mobile communications system, a method for controlling a radio resource allocation is provided. A network transmits access control information to a terminal such that a request for the radio resource allocation which will be transmitted from the terminal can be controlled. The terminal selectively transmits the request for the radio resource allocation based on the received information, thus a transmission of an unnecessary request for the radio resource can be minimized, thereby preventing a waste of the radio resource.

摘要： An apparatus and method for performing procedures (protocols) of a PDCP (Packet Data Convergence Protocol) layer and an RLC (Radio layer in an E-UMTS (Evolved Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) which has evolved from UMTS, among radio protocols of a mobile communication system. The PDCP layer performs ciphering on data (i.e., PDCP SDU) received from an upper layer, generates an indicator discriminating ciphered data and non-ciphered data (i.e., an ROHC feedback packet directly generated by the PDCP layer), and transmits the same to a lower layer (i.e., MAC layer). A PDCP SN (Sequence Number) is defined as an algorithm for ciphering the data in the PDCP layer to perform ciphering in the PDCP layer.

Using such apparatus allows the sub-header(s) to be inserted (included) into the MAC PDU (or transport block (TB) or other data unit).

摘要： Disclosed is a transmission of a RLC STATUS PDU using a limited radio resource by MAC and RLC layers in a long term evolution (LTE) system. In case where the MAC entity prioritizes logical channels for allocating the radio resource to each logical channel, the MAC entity is allowed to allocate radio resources based upon the size of a RLC STATUS PDU to be sent from the RLC layer and also the RLC layer is allowed to use the STATUS PDU prior to RLC data PDUs upon using the allocated radio resource, such that RLC protocols can be avoided from coming in a deadlock situation due to a non-transmission of the STATUS PDU.

摘要： A mobile communication system, and method for transmitting a PDCP status report thereof capable of preventing the occurrence of data loss when re-establishing an RLC. When an RLC re-establishment occurs due to an RLC internal error, a receiving PDCP entity triggers a status report to transmit it to a transmitting PDCP entity even if PDCP entities are not replaced by others. The transmitting PDCP entity checks whether a received state of each PDCP SDU based on the triggered PDCP status report, and then re-transmits PDCP SDUs having not successfully received by the receiving PDCP entity.
