    摘要: An automatic exposure control apparatus for controlling the diaphragm of the camera in accordance with the preselected shutter time and the exposure value, in which a digital-to-analog converter having a counter responsive to the number of pulses supplied from a clock pulse generator through a gate produces a time variable output capable of attaining a certain level dependent upon the preselected shutter time and a light value as photoelectrically sensed, that is, an exposure value and, which is detected by a first comparator. The output of the first comparator is applied to the gate, so that the converter is set to memorize the exposure value therein. As the diaphragm presetting ring is moved from the maximum to minimum aperture position with production of a time variable output from a signal generator associated therewith, a second comparator responsive to the attainment of the time variable output of the signal generator to a level dependent upon the final output of the set converter produces an output which is applied to arresting means for the diaphragm presetting ring. This results in automatic adjustment of the position of the presetting ring. At the time the presetting ring begins to move, the diaphragm driving means is actuated causing the diaphragm means to be brought into engagement with the ring. Thus, an effective exposure aperture is established in the diaphragm means.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a device for measuring light incident on an image forming optical system, making use of a plural number of the diffraction element. The plural number of the diffraction elements are respectively provided in the optical path of the image forming optical system. Further the plural number of the diffraction elements respectively present a certain predetermined area. The plural number of the diffraction elements, seen along the direction of the optical axis of the image forming optical system, are substantially only partially overlapped with respect to each other. The light beam incident on a diffraction element is divided into a non diffracted light beam and a diffracted light beam. Thus diffracted light beam is directed toward the light detecting means so as to be measured while the non diffracted light beam advances along the above mentioned optical axis. Consequently at the part at which the diffraction elements overlap each other, the non diffracted light beam led out of the preceeding diffraction element again enters the following diffraction element. This light beam is again divided into a non diffracted light beam and a diffracted light beam by means of the following diffraction element. The diffracted light beam is measured by a light detecting means in the same way as in the above mentioned case, while the non diffracted light beam advances along the above mentioned optical axis. Thus the light beam which passes through the overlapping parts is measured a plural number of times.

    摘要: A photographic camera having a manually and automatically adjustable diaphragm is provided with an electromagnetically operated diaphragm scanning mechanism in combination with a manually operable depth of field pre-viewing device to enable a visual determination of the utilizable zone of sharpness in a reflex viewfinder of the camera regardless of the fact that the camera remains in the run down position. For this purpose, the diaphragm scanning mechanism includes a scanning member and a driving member arranged to establish driving connection therebetwen during the automatic adjustment of the diaphragm. Release means is provided and is responsive to the termination of closing operation of the camera shutter for effecting release of the driving connection, whereby the photographer before cocking the camera is enabled to manipulate the diaphragm followed by the pre-viewing device to read off the range of sharpness in dependence on the manual setting of the diaphragm for use in making a subsequent exposure.

    摘要: An exposure control device is disclosed which has an extremely high accuracy as compared with the prior art, the error range being within a one-eighth step. For such a highly accurate control of exposure time, a value of exposure time to be determined is converted to a binary code of n bits, of which the lowest one bit is weighed one-eighth step. Based on the decimal number corresponding to the upper m bits of the binary code, the frequency of the control signal is adjusted and is used in reading out the lower (n - m) bits of the same binary code, whereby the period of actuation of the shutter is determined.
