摘要： A system and method is provided for masking traditional grey bars which are produced by displaying wide screen images within a full screen native projector and visa versa. This method allows blocking of light for unused portions of the screen thereby producing higher contrast images. In an exemplary embodiment, a physical shutter is positioned inside the projection system so that the light which would otherwise produce a grey bar area is blocked before it reaches a projection screen. Image data are analyzed to identify grey screen areas which are not being utilized for image display and light which would otherwise produce such grey areas is blocked or shuttered by the projector to eliminate the grey areas.

摘要： The present invention enables a user to schedule meetings and detect scheduling conflicts. A system user such as an employee schedules a meeting. The time and date of the meeting is stored in an account for that user. When the same user schedules another meeting, that meeting is detected and compared with any previously and scheduled and stored meetings for that user. If there is a conflict between the presently scheduled meeting and any previously scheduled meeting, then the present invention alerts the user and gives the user the opportunity to select the new meeting for that time or to retain the currently scheduled meeting. The present invention can also store and track the unscheduled meetings. In the event the scheduled meeting is postponed or canceled, the user can be notified and given the opportunity to schedule and attend a previously declined meeting that was scheduled for that same time.

摘要： A method and system are provided in which metadata associated with programs selected to be recorded are monitored in real time and the recording begins and ends when the selected title is detected from actual video header information regardless of the time slot within which the program is scheduled to run. Another feature enables the recording of a designated program beyond its assigned time slot even when there is insufficient storage space on the user's DVR or other storage device. Other interconnected DVR or other storage devices are accessed to record one or more portions of the selected program. When a user desires a playback of the recording, the recorded program is played-back from the various networked multiple storage resources, each of which may contain one or more portions of the recorded program.

Each time source content is selected, a number of source reference data items such as author, publication date, and source file name or network address are captured and stored. The stored source reference identifies may then be used to automatically generate footnotes, end notes, and bibliographical entries.

The server system queries the plurality of emails. The email is located as a result of the querying. The server system sends a second copy of the email to the recipient.
