    摘要: An optical disk recording system includes a plurality of slots housing portable optical memory media and operative to select a desired optical recording medium to perform data read/write or includes a plurality of recording media housed in a magazine having the function of replacement. It is decided, during writing data to a recording medium, whether writing to the recording medium held in a slot is permissible and if writing is impermissible, writing to a recording medium of another slot is carried out. In the case of a medium exchangeable memory device having a detachable magazine having a plurality of slots, when writing to a slot of one magazine is impermissible, writing to a recording medium held in a slot of another magazine is carried out. Writing can be carried out without considering the state of the recording medium.

    摘要: The invention provides an efficient method for controlling the flow rate of a particulate material through a pneumatic transportation pipe at a preset value with a high accuracy and rapid response to an external disturbance added to the system by controlling the flow rate of the booster gas. Different from conventional methods in which the flow rate of the booster gas is controlled with the feedforward factor of the variation in the actual flow rate of the particulate material, the inventive method utilizes the variation in the pressure in the receiving unit as the feedback to control the flow rate of the booster gas so that the above mentioned advantages are obtained in the accuracy of control and rapidness of the response to an external disturbance.

    摘要: A heat-fixing device includes a heat plate along which a transfer medium bearing thereon a toner image is advanced during which the toner image becomes fixed to the transfer medium by fusing, the heat plate including a plurality of heating sections arranged along the direction of advancement of said transfer medium each of the heating sections being provided with at least one electrical heater. The device also includes a control circuit for controlling the operation of the heaters such that, under a non-steady-condition, only selected ones of the heaters are set in operation thereby only the corresponding heating sections are positively heated; whereas, under a steady-state condition, all of the heaters are operated at the same time thereby maintaining all of the heating sections at a predetermined temperature.

    摘要: An improved multiple reproduction apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes an original holder for holding thereon an original from which multiple copies are to be made and an optical system for leading a light image of the original to a desired position, the optical system constituting a part of the exposure system of the apparatus. Either of the original holder or optical system is movably provided with respect to the other, which is fixedly provided on the apparatus. The present apparatus further comprises wait time control means so that the original holder or optical system stays still for a predetermined period of time at its home position in response to the size of the original or copy paper.
