Abstract: Full body exercise equipment including four elongate rails arranged in a generally side-by-side longitudinal configuration. The four elongate rails are connected together to allow for selected angular arrangements between the rails and also allow for selected longitudinal arrangements between the rails. A slidable shuttle member is provided on each rail with the two inside rails having toe holds and the two outside rails having hand grips. A resilient cord is provided for each shuttle for selectable attachment to either end of the shuttle to provide selected resistance against slidable movement of the shuttle in either direction on a respective rail.

Abstract: An exercise machine ergonomic handle system for providing hand-holds for the performance of exercises with reduced flexion and/or extension of the hand and wrist and reduced ulnar and/or radial deviation so as to reduce injury and allow application of full strength to the exercise machine. The exercise machine ergonomic handle system generally includes a longitudinally extending frame, a carriage that moves upon a first longitudinal portion of the frame, and at least one pair of ergonomic handles positioned on a second longitudinal portion of the frame. The ergonomic handles rotate about an axis to prevent flexion and/or extension, and can be positioned at a width and/or angle that reduces ulnar and/or radial deviation.

Abstract: A series of improved exercise machines with a movable user engagement member operatively linked to a sliding while rotating user support such that when the user engagement member is engaged and activated by the user the user engagement member concurrently causes movement of the operative linkage system, which concurrently causes the user support to slide while rotating. This creates dynamic motion of the user support relative to the user engagement member.

Abstract: An elliptical exercise device has a frame and guide link pivotally attached thereto. A foot support link is pivotally connected to a lower attachment point of each guide link so that when the guide links pivot relative to the frame, foot receiving areas of the foot support links move in a path of travel having a horizontal component of motion. Vertical control tracks are pivotally connected to the frame and support the foot support links. A vertical drive is coupled to the forward portion of the frame and vertical control elements connect the vertical drive to the vertical control tracks. A horizontal drive and horizontal control links control pivoting of the guide links.

Abstract: An exercise device includes first and second crank arms configured to rotate 180 degrees out of phase with respect to one another about a first axis; a track; first and second foot links, first and second footpads carried by the first and second foot links between the first link portion and the second link portion and first and second front arms. Each of the first and second foot links has a first link portion that moves along the track while pivoting. Each of the first and second front arms has a first arm portion pivotally coupled to one of the foot links and a second arm portion pivotally coupled one of the crank arms. In one embodiment, a disc rotates in response to movement of the first foot link along the track, wherein a magnet facing the disc forms an eddy brake.

Abstract: An apparatus for human exercise in certain configurations includes first and second foot pads attached to first and second guided carrier members, respectively. A first curved guide rail portion is coupled to the first guided carrier member, and prevents motion of the first guided carrier member except for translation along the first curved guide rail portion. A second curved guide rail portion is coupled to the second guided carrier member, and prevents motion of the second guided carrier member except for translation along the second curved guide rail portion. A first motion resistor is coupled to the first foot pad and opposes a translation of the first foot pad along the first curved guide rail portion. Each of the first curved guide rail portion and the second curved guide rail portion is curved away from an underlying ground plane, to define a distally increasing rail height.

Abstract: A multifunctional exercise machine is an exercise machine that combines a stepper assembly and a stationary bicycle assembly into a single machine. The stepper assembly is positioned on a frame member while the stationary bicycle assembly is positioned on a stand member. The frame member and the stand member are both hingedly connected to a bridge positioned in between the frame member and the stand member. A stepper resetting mechanism is utilized to regulate the movement of a first step pedal and a second step pedal of the stepper assembly. The first step pedal and the second step pedal are slidably engaged to a first rail and a second rail of the frame member. The machine may be utilized in a standing position or in a seated position via an adjustable seat. A handlebar assembly may be utilized for user stability while exercising.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a standup exercise apparatus that simulates walking and jogging with arm exercise. More particularly, the present invention relates to an exercise machine having separately supported pedals for the feet and arm exercise coordinated with the motion of the feet where the pedal stride length is determined by the movements of an operator.
