Abstract:
A support structure has two side panels and two support frame assemblies maintaining the side panels in a mutually spaced relationship and at an elevation to enable suspension of hanging file folders from upper surfaces of the side panels. Each side panel has a top member having the upper surface and a bottom member spaced apart from the top member. Terminal ends of each of the top and bottom members are provided with vertical slots. Each support frame assembly has two support legs that extend into the vertical slots of the respective terminal ends of the side panels and has a transverse support member having opposite terminal ends releasably mounted to respective ones of the support legs. Each support leg has first and second leg portions spaced apart from one another by a bend serving as a seat that positions and holds the transverse support member.
Abstract:
A support structure has a pair of elongate side panels and a pair of end support frame assemblies for maintaining the side panels in a mutually spaced relationship and at an elevation to enable suspension of hanging file folders from upper surfaces of the side panels. Each of the side panels includes a top member having the upper surface, a bottom member spaced apart from the top member, and at least one reinforcing member interconnecting the top and bottom members. Each of the top and bottom members has opposite terminal ends each formed as a connecting member having a vertical slot. Each of the end support frame assemblies includes a pair of support legs configured to extend through the vertical slots of the respective connecting members of the side panels and includes at least one transverse support member having opposite terminal ends configured to be releasably mounted to respective ones of the support legs.
Abstract:
An indicator circuit for a storage container designed to enable remote electronic searching for file folders located within the container. Address signals from a host computer are supplied to the storage container to designate a sought file folder. The indicator circuit is activated whenever a sought file folder is located in a given container. When two or more storage containers are interconnected to receive address signals designating a sought file folder, only the indicator circuit of the storage container containing the sought file folder is activated.

Abstract:
File folders are provided having bent hangers from which a receptacle is suspended so that the top of the receptacle is beneath a rail-engaging portion of the hangers and/or beneath a top of the rail or other supporting structure of office storage equipment. The hangers of the file folder may also be collapsible for use outside the office storage equipment. The hangers may also have a grip, or handle, for removal of the file folder from the office storage equipment.
Abstract:
A storage box for hanging file folders, which has an outer carton and an inner carton. The inner carton has a pair of removable reinforcing strips, which attach to opposing upper edges of the inner carton. Each hanging file folder is suspended by a pair of hangers that engage the reinforcing strips. The outer carton extends above the level of the file folders and their hangers, in order to engage a removable lid without interference from the hangers, the hanging file folders, or any index tabs that may be attached to the file holders. Optionally, the outer carton may have one or more handles.
Abstract:
A filing frame device for office furniture filing drawers consisting of a pair of lateral frames (4) which are identical to one another having the form of a bridge capable of being installed between the front (2) and rear (3) panels and which determines a longitudinal member (5) which extends the length of the drawer (1) elevated above the respective side of the same, and two supports (6) whose external dimension is set such as to exceed the internal dimension of the drawer (1) and having in the external direction and in mutual opposition upper (7) and lower (8) means of assembly which are vertically aligned, each of which simultaneously but independently acts selectively in conjunction with one or other of those formed by upper (9) and lower (10) horizontal pairs of complementary means of installation which, within each horizontal pair (9 and 10), are designated as external (9a and 10a) and internal (9b and 10b) in accordance with whether they are in greater proximity to or more remote from the side of the drawer (1).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a support for hanging file holders, which is devised to be installed into the top of a piece of furniture such as a table, a desk or a shelf, or into any other flat surface, in order to hang and store in a very easy and fast manner file holders. This support comprises a frame devised to be installed into an opening made in the piece of furniture or flat surface. The frame has an upper portion with an external rim that lies on edges of the opening when the frame is inserted into this opening. The frame also has a lower portion provided with internal J-shaped foldings for use to hang file holders. The support also comprises a lid pivotably mounted into the frame in order to close the same and protect the file holders hung therein. Preferably, the frame is devised in such manner as to be capable of hanging file holders of “A” format or “Letters” format in one direction and file holders of “Legal” format in another perpendicular direction.
