    摘要: A retractable closure for an aperture, particularly suited as a sliding roof apparatus for motor vehicles, is disclosed. A retractable panel is mounted for generally horizontal translation without jogs between a first, closed position substantially flush with the upper surface of the structure and covering said aperture and a second, open position over a stationary panel in a recessed area adjacent said aperture. A liftable panel is provided above the stationary panel and moves between a first, lowered position 10 substantially flush with the upper surface of the structure and covering the recessed area and a second, raised position in which it creates a vertical space between its lower surface and the stationary panel into which vertical space the retractable panel translates in moving into its second, open position. Actuators for the retractable and liftable panels may be either separate or combined. In a preferred embodiment, while separate actuating mechanisms are provided for the retractable and liftable panels, the former acts on the latter during the initial opening phases to initiate the lifting.

Each of the first and second pinch detection systems comprises a tracker module configured to compare the movement of the closure member and the reference, the tracker module allowing a tolerance between movement and reference; a deviation module configured to determine a deviation, if the tolerance is exceeded; and pinch determination module configured to determine that a pinch occurs, if the deviation in movement exceeds a threshold. The tolerance of the first pinch detection system is smaller than the tolerance of the second pinch detection system. The threshold of the first pinch detection system is higher that the threshold of the second pinch detection system.

    摘要: An open roof construction comprises at least one guide rail and front and rear closure panels. An operating mechanism supports the front panel and is adjustable between a closed position and an open position. The operating mechanism comprises rear supports connected to the front panel and two parallel guide tracks. A rear guide track portion extends rearwardly beyond the roof opening. The rear panel and the sidewardly adjacent fixed roof include a passage opening to allow the supports to support the front panel when the support is positioned in the rear guide track portion. The rear panel and the adjacent fixed roof are each provided with a seal to close the passage opening and to allow the support member to move between the seals, which, when viewed from above, extend in a non-parallel fashion with respect to each other and to the guide track.

A guide member includes a fitting protrusion fitted in the fitting recess and elastically recovering to guide the facing to be folded at a retracting movement of the facing. A restriction wall restricts the guide member from moving such that a movable distance of the guide member in a counter-insertion direction of the fitting protrusion is a distance that is shorter than an insertion amount of the fitting protrusion relative to the fitting recess.

An operating mechanism for the closure includes a first device including a lever configured to move the rear edge of the closure towards a raised position above the roof. A second device includes a lever configured to move the front edge of the closure in a vertical direction. At least one of the levers has a first pivotal connection at a first end of the closure, and spaced second and third connections connecting the respective lever at least to a guiding slide. At least one of the levers is pivotally connected to a sliding member at one of said second and third connections. The sliding member is separate from the guiding slide, slides in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail and is supported by the guide rail in directions perpendicularly to the longitudinal sliding direction.
