Abstract:
The invention relates to a seat for a motor vehicle comprising a seat (2) and a backrest (3), said seat comprising lateral supporting legs, inner (5) and outer (4) respectively, said legs being placed on either side of the seat (2) and being designed to be joined to the motor vehicle, said seat also comprising a beam (6) for joining the seat (2) to the inner (5) and outer (4) supporting legs, said beam extending laterally between the supporting legs (4, 5) and being joined to said seat and to said legs, the joining beam (6) being arranged such as to transmit the energy of a side crash from the outer lateral supporting leg (4) to the inner lateral supporting leg (5) and in that the inner supporting leg (5) has a structure arranged so as to deform and absorb at least a part of the energy from the side crash.
Abstract:
The lid for a rear trunk of a vehicle having a roof foldable into the trunk is connected to the bodywork by device disposed at the front edge and at the rear edge of the lid and whose function is either to lock or to hinge the lid in a manner such that said lid can open either from the front backwards or from the rear forwards, and control device cause the lid to open in either of its opening directions or to be closed. According to the invention, the control device comprise at least one articulated arm and an actuator which is connected to the articulated arm and to the bodywork, and which is adapted to move the articulated arm and the lid.
Abstract:
The invention is a let-down roof structure with overlapping front roof panels and retractable side roof rails which pivot transversely into a stored position.
Abstract:
A convertible roof for a vehicle and associated vehicle, the roof comprising at least one front roof element and a rear roof element which can move between a deployed position, in which the front roof element and the rear roof element cover the passenger compartment, and a storage position, in which the front roof element and the rear roof element are stored in the boot of the vehicle. The roof also comprising two pivot arms which each pivot along an axis. The roof comprising motorization means, first means of locking the pivot arms to the post of the windshield of the vehicle and second means of locking at least one front roof element of the pivot arms. The first and second locking means and the pivoting movement of the arms are controlled by the same motorization means, such as an electric motor.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a vehicle comprising a body roof having an opening capable of being closed and a folding top consisting of several rigid parts (3), (4), (5) and a modular roof assembly (1) mounted directly in one single piece on the vehicle structure, said assembly comprising the folding top, with its mobile parts (3), (4), (5), a frame (10) supporting the folding top, adapted to be positioned opposite marking elements (75) of the vehicle structure and connected thereto, the parts of the roof being mobile between an extended position, resulting from a forward displacement, and a folded position wherein said parts are substantially vertically retracted behind the seats (7), side by side, a mechanism (40, 50) for displacing the roof parts, borne by the support frame, being also provided, after the modular roof assembly has been positioned inside the vehicle, for displacing said roof parts relative to the roof opening between their extended and retracted positions.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a rear parcel shelf system for a convertible vehicle with a hard folding roof. The system has a first retractable shelf. The inventive system also has a second shelf which is intended to be disposed under the bonnet of the rear boot when the roof is in the closed position and has a device for moving and guiding the second shelf towards the front of the vehicle in order to fill the space between the back of the corresponding seats and the front edge of the bonnet when the roof is in the folded position.
Abstract:
A hatchback-type door assembly for a vehicle has a door subassembly hinged to the vehicle and a window subassembly separately hinged to the vehicle, the hinge axis of the door subassembly and the window subassembly coinciding with one another, whereby the door subassembly may be pivotally opened while the window subassembly remains closed or, alternatively, the window and door subassemblies may be opened in unison.
Abstract:
An electrical power supply system for an electrically powered motor vehicle, said vehicle including an electric motor, and a transmission device for transmitting energy between the drive wheels and the motor, said vehicle further including electrical accessories, in particular an air-conditioning device. Said system comprises a first rechargeable battery serving to power the electric motor and a second rechargeable battery serving to power the electrical accessories of the vehicle, the batteries being connected in parallel to the motor. The invention also relates to a method for controlling such a system, and to an electric motor including such a system.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for stowing an open top (1, 3, 5, 9) in a vehicle storage space (53). The top being initially closed, it consists in displacing the roof parts up to the inside of the storage space, some at least up to a first substantially vertically stowed position, then in displacing again said roof part(s) towards a substantially horizontal position located either in the upper part or in the lower part of the storage space (53), to clear horizontally an additional storage depth.
Abstract:
Each of the sets of pivots (5) comprise a base (9) fixed to the bodyshell (10) of the vehicle, a body (11) linked to the hood (4) of the rear boot by a hinge (12) and means for locking the body (11) in relation to the base. For a lock in the closed position of the hood, a hook (16) of the front and rear sets of pivots (5 and 7) engages, in a co-ordinated manner, the first and second stubs (17 and 21), whereas, for an opening of the hood swivelled towards the rear, during unfolding or folding away of the roof into the boot, the hooks (16) of the front and rear sets of pivots operates so as to respectively and solely engage the second stubs (17) of the rear set of pivots (7) and release, in a co-ordinated manner, the second and third stubs of the front set of pivots (5), and inversely for an opening swivelled towards the front of the hood, to access a luggage loading zone in the boot.
