摘要: A multi-layer hardtop structure includes a lower assembly, an upper assembly, and a soft layer, where the lower assembly includes multiple lower slat units, and the upper assembly includes multiple upper slat units; the upper slat unit is connected to the lower slat unit to form a rotation unit, or the lower slat unit alone forms a rotation unit; and the soft layer continuously covers the lower assembly, and is partially limited between the lower slat unit and the upper slat unit. In the multi-layer hardtop structure, the upper slat unit is connected to the lower slat unit, and the soft layer is provided between the upper slat unit and the lower slat unit. Therefore, the multi-layer hardtop structure has a desired waterproof effect and increases the load-bearing capacity of the entire hardtop.

摘要: An assembly for sealing an intermediate space between two covers for a vehicle roof has a cover frame which is configured to couple a deployable and retractable first cover and a fixed second cover to a roof body of the motor vehicle, and a cover seal which is configured to seal a space between the first cover and the cover frame. The assembly furthermore has an adhesive track which is configured to couple the second cover to the cover frame, and a cross strut which in terms of a longitudinal axis of the vehicle roof is coupled to the cover frame on opposite sides. The assembly further has a respective permanently plastic sealant element, which is disposed in a respective peripheral region of the cross strut and is coupled in a sealing manner to the latter and to the cover frame, the cover seal and the adhesive track.

摘要: A sunroof device includes a sunroof unit, a looped first seal, and a second seal. The sunroof unit supports a panel capable of closing an opening of a roof of a vehicle. The sunroof unit includes a frame provided with two guide rails placed on two edges of the opening in a vehicle widthwise direction and two housings placed on two edges of the opening in a vehicle front-to-rear direction to connect front ends of the two guide rails to each other and rear ends of the two guide rails to each other in the vehicle widthwise direction. The first seal is arranged between an entire periphery of the opening and the frame. The second seal is arranged between opposing surfaces of the guide rails and the housings at portions where the guide rails are coupled to the housings. The second seal is butt against the first seal.

摘要: There are provided a pillar attached to a vehicle-body side separately from a roof, a pillar-side weather strip provided at the pillar, a vehicle-body-side weather strip provided at a vehicle-body side of a lower portion of the pillar, and an engagement portion provided at a lower end portion of the pillar-side weather strip, the engagement portion being configured to engage from an inward side, in a vehicle width direction, of the vehicle-body-side weather strip. The vehicle-body-side weather strip comprises a guide portion which guides the engagement portion of the pillar-side weather strip inward and downward, an engaged portion positioned at a lower portion of the guide portion, and a wall portion which contacts a hanging piece provided at the lower end portion of the pillar-side weather strip from an outward side in the vehicle width direction.

摘要: A noise abatement device for a vehicle having a body including a sunroof and a sunroof drain hose open for a fluid to flow from the sunroof to outside of the body. The noise abatement device includes a housing and at least one baffle. The housing has an interior wall and is configured to form an entry port connectable to the drain hose and an exit port openable to the outside of the body. The entry port is at a first elevation and the exit port is at as second elevation, lower than the first elevation. At least one baffle is attached to the interior wall. The baffle is configured to allow the fluid to flow via gravity from the entry port to the exit port and to create a tortuous path through the housing to prevent noise from outside of the body from entering the drain hose.
