    摘要: A tie plate is formed with a profile defining two parallel protrusions with bores for receiving the respective ends of two clips. The two clips engage the flange of a rail to secure the rail to the plate, and therefore, to tie disposed below the plate. Since the protrusions are made integrally with the the plate, the resulting tie plate is able to support the rail securely even in the presence of large forces and/or twisting moments on the rail resulting from a train passing over the plate.

    摘要: The invention relates to a rail fastening on a tie having fastening screws and loop-shaped tension clamps in which the track width can be adjusted horizontally in a stepless manner using wedge elements, the rail being arranged on a ribbed plate, the ribs of which run at an angle to the rail and a wedge that can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the rail being arranged between rail foot and the ribs. The wedge is preferably guided on the support. This makes possible effective horizontal lateral displacement of the rail or modification of the track with the use of simple and inexpensive plastic parts.

    摘要: A steel rail clip assembly having a clip and a locating member is revealed. A locating slot is arranged at an outer edge of an insertion rod of the clip while the locating member includes an inner bushing and an outer bushing mounted to each other. The inner bushing includes a locating block arranged at an inner surface and corresponding to the locating slot of the insertion rod. A locking projecting part and a corresponding locking concave part are respectively disposed on the inner bushing and the outer bushing. Thereby the clip is located by the locating member and unable to be removed easily without special tools. The falling of the clip of the steel rail caused by vibration of trains or malicious damage, knocking on railways is avoided. Thus the safety of train traffic services is ensured and the risk of related property losses and injuries is reduced.

    摘要: A rail brace assembly provides positive support for a stock rail mounted on a switch brace plate. The assembly includes a rail brace having a generally central opening that it is installed over a fixed clip housing attached to the brace plate. The clip housing accepts a resilient clip that secures the rail brace in position on the brace plate and against the stock rail. The resilient clip provides spring force directly to the rail brace in both a vertically downward direction and a lateral direction. The rail brace has a lug to prevent the clip from being removed from the clip housing due to vibration. The clip housing prevents the brace from moving laterally even if the clip breaks or becomes disengaged. The brace assembly includes a stop that is secured to the brace plate and a tapered wedge that is disposed between the stop and the rail brace. Upon driving the wedge longitudinally of the rail, lateral force is applied to the rail brace and the rail. The stop and the wedge employ a longitudinally extending tongue and groove to prevent relative vertical movement therebetween. The junction between the wedge and the rail brace is defined by mating convex-concave surfaces. A shear member such as a cotter pin prevents the wedge from being retracted once the wedge has been driven to a desired longitudinal position. Because the wedge cannot be moved inadvertently, lateral force will be applied continuously to the rail brace by the wedge.
