摘要： A balanced rotary engine for applying torque to a drive shaft. The engine has an outer casing with a main drive case. A cylinder is rotably mounted in the casing and a piston is mounted to move longitudinally within the cylinder. Two connecting arms, each with a connecting end, one of the ends is connected to the piston, and two crankshafts, each one being rotably connected to the other connecting end of the connecting arms. Two drive wheels are contra-rotably connected to the respective first and second crankshafts. A fixed drive ring has a circumferentially disposed drive member surface. The fixed drive ring is mounted in the case so that the drive member surface faces the piston. The two drive wheels mesh with the drive ring.

摘要： A radial crank external heated engine having multiple alignments of pistons radial to multiple collinear rotary valves, multiple crankshafts connected to alignments of pistons, and a common output shaft connected to the crankshafts. A heat conductive working fluid is cycled to the engine from a heat producing external energy source via a slotted channelled tube extended centrally through the rotary valves. The rotary valves have intake and exhaust sections that communicate with the channelled tube and provide means working fluid exchange with respective pistons at timed intervals. The pistons are reciprocally driven by the entry of pressurized work fluid in the cylinder, and the resulting motive power is transferred along the crankshafts to the output shaft where it can be harnessed.

摘要： An internal combustion engine includes a standard connecting rod as well as a gear rack. The connecting rod can be a standard connecting rod that reciprocates with the piston and that drives a rotatable crank mechanism to convert the reciprocating motion of the piston into rotation of the crankshaft. The gear rack is also connected to and reciprocates with the piston. The gear rack is engaged with a gear that is mounted on the crankshaft. A one-way drive mechanism is provided between the gear and the crankshaft that transmits torque (i.e. rotary force) to the crankshaft only during the power stroke of the piston.
