摘要： A computerized method, a computer-readable medium, and a system each pertain to the creation of an electronic literary work on a computer system. According to a representative methodology, a first working area of an application program is populated with selected digital images from an archive image set, to generate a contact sheet view comprising an imported image set. A second working area is populated with selected images from the imported image set to establish a working image set which is arrange into a selected storyboard sequence. Respective image data is associated with at least some of the digital images within the working set to define pairs of companion image items which are then displayed according to the storyboard sequence. An electronic literary work produced according to such a methodology is also provided.

The playing apparatus for voice card and audio book comprises a voice card sensing unit, an audio book page sensing unit, a voice card transfer unit, a memory including a voice card information storing unit and an audio book information storing unit, a digital information processing unit, a speaker, and a MCU for controlling operation of all components. By providing a control method when the voice card is inserted during the output of the audio book, remaining data of the audio book can be output after a voice card playing mode is executed, without occurrence of errors due to a careless manipulation of the user. Accordingly, since the manipulation of the playing apparatus for audio book and voice card is very simple, even infants/babies can manipulate the playing apparatus easily and conveniently without the occurrence of errors.

摘要： An electronic talking book and method of operation thereof. The electronic talking book includes a book unit that has a front cover, a back cover and a spline cover. The book unit further includes a number of modular core sheets, where each of the modular core sheets has a laminated leaf that includes a front side and an electronic side that has at least one visual image. The electronic talking book also includes an audio recording/playback apparatus, where the audio recording/playback apparatus includes an audio input means for receiving audible utterances associated with a selected one of the visual images. An audio output means is also provided for playing back the audible utterances when the associated visual image is selected for personalizing the audio presentation of the visual images. In a related embodiment, the electronic talking book further includes a storage device for storing the received audible utterances and a playback device for audio reproduction of the stored audible utterances. In an advantageous embodiment, the audio input means is a conventional microphone.
