This invention relates to an improved apparatus configured to store different kinds and types of media cases and boxes, preferably used for audio and/or video media, such as for example including but not limited to cases or boxes for DVD's, CD's, Blu-rays, movies, audio, video games, VHS tapes and the like. The apparatus includes at least two similar constructed apparatuses which are releasably connected together by at least one pair of mating connecting means.
Abstract:
The present invention is a system for attaching rigid holders together to form stacks of rigid holders. The present invention relates particularly to stacks of one or more rigid holders for containers holding compact discs and DVDs. The attachment system of the present invention allows for simple and efficient connection between individual rigid holders. Mechanical binding clips are inserted into cutouts on the spine region of rigid holders. The binding clips are flexed to fit within an opening and then un-flexed to lock the rigid holders and binding clips together. Male and female details allow for a secure hold. Extensions within the cutouts have barbs that fit over parts of the binding clips.

The present invention discloses a display structure, comprising two vertical bars, two cross bars, a plurality of partition bars, and a plurality of partition parts to form a unit body. The short sides of the assembly panels on both ends of the partition bar are positioned into the gaps between the two wing panels in the vertical bar and then the partition bar is rotated to engage with the two clip grooves and the two wing panels, and a clip tenon is sandwiched by the two wing panels so as to form a plate-shape unit body. Further, the top of the partition part is snapped into the slide groove with the bottom of the partition bar protruding a partition panel such that the space between the partition parts is partitioned into accommodating spaces.

A high capacity motorized rack holds a plurality of jewel case enclosed CDs in holders flexibly inter-connectable with each other to form a rotatable continuous loop. The loop is rotatably retained within a vertical rack housing and is driven by a motor, disposed within the housing, under user control such that the loop is rotated until a desired CD is moved to the top region of the belt. A rack may hold two or more such loops of inter-connected holders. In one embodiment a holder retains a single jewel case, and comprises two independent loops that are rotated with a single motor. A lamp and/or barcode scanner may be disposed on the housing for ease of CD selection. The housing base preferably is detached during shipping to permit transporting the rack in a smaller volume container. User control can include voice commands to direct loop rotation and speed.

An arrangement for storing and readily reviewing digital photographic information stored on photographic CD;s, comprising a base, a number of CD boxes each adapted to store one of said CD's as well as at least a part of a reproduction of one of the photographs of the respective CD indicative of the photographic contents of the respective CD. The reproduction, in the form of photographs or thumbnail indexes, are stored on top of the CD, in the front section or chamber, and being visible through this first part. The second, or hinged back part will store the respective CD. A rack on the base is provided with slots for storing a plurality of CD/photograph boxes, each box with pivot pins to fit in slots in a predetermined rearward slanting position and for enabling a search of the contents of the CD boxes by flipping them into an oppositely forward slanting position. The plurality of CD/photograph boxes will be housed in a stackable carrying case.
