    摘要: In some embodiments, a method of simulating combat described herein comprises emitting a first query beam from a first query unit of a first interoperable identification and communication system, receiving the first query beam with a second response unit of a second interoperable identification and communication system, emitting a second response beam with the second response unit, and receiving the second response beam with the first query unit. In some embodiments, a method of simulating combat comprises emitting a query beam comprising a plurality of packets each comprising a header portion, an information portion, and a footer portion from a query unit; and receiving the query beam with a response unit comprising a plurality of detectors spatially separated from one another, wherein the response unit is operable to independently measure the intensity of each packet of the query beam received at each of the plurality of detectors.

    摘要: A blood pressure manometer comprises a body and a separate display, and the body and separate display are provided with first and second communication parts, respectively. The first communication part has a light emitting element and is configured so that the element sends an infrared signal including blood pressure data. The second communication part has a light receiving element and is configured so that the light receiving element receives the infrared signal including the blood pressure data from the first communication part. The light emitting element is supported by the body to be opposite a subject even if a blood pressure measuring portion of the body measures the subject's blood pressure from any of the subject's left and right regions. The light receiving element is supported by the separate display to received the infrared signal which is sent from the light emitting element to be reflected on the subject.

A wireless signal is sent between a controlled device and the remote control. The quality measurements provide feedback that allows a user, installer, customer service representative or other person to change the positions of the device or the remote control, or to take other actions based upon the quality of the wireless signal that is received.

    摘要: An adapter for providing wireless communication between a transducer and a computer. The adapter of the present invention includes a processor and a first connector operable for connecting the adapter to the transducer. The connector is in electrical communication with the processor such that the processor receives at least one measured parameter from the transducer. The present invention also includes at least one radio transmitter in electrical communication with the processor, the processor operable to transfer the measured parameter to the at least one radio transmitter for wirelessly transmitting the measured parameter to the computer. The radio transmitter is able to broadcast in one or more wireless communication protocols. The adapter of the present invention is suitable for operation with any type of transducer that functions as a sensor/detector, an actuator, or the like, and is able to transfer the measured parameter detected by the transducer wirelessly to a computer.

    摘要: A free space optical communication system is described that comprises a receiver node and a transmitter node communicating to each other via a control data communication channel and an information data communication channel operating at a wavelength region different from the wavelength region of the control data communication channel. The receiver node includes a receiver unit configured to receive an information data signal provided by the transmitter node through the information data communication channel, and to recover information from said information data signal; an interrogator unit configured for generating and radiating an interrogation data signal through the control data communication channel in order to initiate and terminate an information data communication session between the receiver node and the transmitter node; and a receiver node controller configured for controlling operation of the receiver unit and the interrogator unit. The transmitter node includes a responder unit configured to locate the presence of the interrogator unit; a transmitter unit configured to receive the data from an information source, generate and radiate the information data signal through the information data communication channel to the receiver unit; and a notifier unit coupled to the transmitter unit and to the responder unit, and configured to control operation thereof.
