    摘要： An apparatus for effecting the positioning of cleats on shoes includes a baseplate to apply the arch of the foot, a gauge provided with a stop that can slide freely on the baseplate to be in contact with the calcaneum of the foot, and a wall for wedging the front part of the foot at the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe. The stop is fixed on a plate that slides parallel to the baseplate and a support for a shoe corresponding to the foot is fixed to the sliding plate. The support includes a stop to be placed in contact with the shoe counter. A marker is secured to the apparatus base and designed to indicate, on the shoe sole, the location for placing the cleat. The apparatus enables the distance recorded between the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe and calcaneum to be transferred onto the shoe.

    摘要： The invention relates to a one-piece protective toe cap for safety footwear, forming a concave frame consisting of a front wall with connected side walls, the upper edges of which are joined by a concave surface along the profile of the last. The contour or edge of the flange of the toe cap is provided with a recess in order to house a tab and provide comfort, as well as improving the appearance of the footwear (not shown in these documents). The design withstands impact tests of approximately 101.7 to 146.7 Joules (10.4 to 14.95 kgf-m), leaving clearance of approximately 11 mm to 14 mm in the capped shoe and not only at the tip of the cap.

    摘要： A sole measuring device, more particularly for soles of ski boots, having a rail which is attached to a stationary stop for the sole, on which rail there is slidably mounted a slide provided with another stop or which is formed as such. In such a device, provision is made according to the invention that both stops (4, 20) have marks which correspond to an acceptable minimum distance of the upper edge (11) of the sole (10) from its bearing face and to an acceptable maximum distance of the lower edge of the sole (10) from its bearing face. In this way, ski boots that can be used in conjunction with certain ski bindings can be sorted out in very simple fashion from those that are no longer suitable for this purpose.

A flat base plate includes nub extensions centrally located on the underside and a rigid wand extending upwardly from one end thereof. When the wearer places the boot on the base plate, any bias will be indicated by the angle between the longitudinal centerline of the wand and the wearer''s knee. Auxiliary clamping means may be added to the wand to check the accuracy of the subsequent correction of the boot sole.
