摘要: The light-conductive optical system comprises a planarly shaped light guide (1) made from an optically transparent material with an associated light unit (3) and a collimating element (2). The light guide (1) comprises an output surface (12) for the output of light rays (10) and a binding surface (11) to bind light rays (10) to the light guide (1). The output surface (12) and the binding surface (11) are situated on surfaces that transversally connect the top (5) and bottom surface (6) of the light guide (1) and the binding surface (11) comprises a partial surface (11c) situated opposite the output surface (22) of the collimating element (2) and a lateral partial surface (11a, 11b) at one or both sides of the partial surface (11c). The height (v) of the output surface (22) is bigger than the thickness (t) of the light guide (1) so the output surface (22) reaches above the top surface (5) and/or below the bottom surface (6) of the light guide (1) with its overlapping part (8, 9). The light guide (1) is, for each overlapping part (8, 9), fitted with at least a pair of reflective means (4a, 4b; 4c) comprising the first reflective means (4a, 4b) situated opposite the overlapping part (8, 9) to bind at least a part of light rays (10) exiting from the overlapping part (8, 9) and to reflect them to the second reflective means (4c) adapted to direct light rays (10) against the lateral partial surface (11a, 11b).

The lens is connected to the headlight mount and corresponds in position to the main light source. The light shielding structure is disposed on the headlight mount and arranged between the main light source and the lens. The light shielding structure includes a first light-shielding plate and a second light-shielding plate. The first light-shielding plate is configured to reciprocally move between an upright position and a reclined position, such that a top portion of the second light-shielding plate can be covered by or exposed from the first light-shielding plate.

摘要: A vehicle lamp is provided with a projection lens having a lens profile with a rear major surface with a convex curvature and a front surface with a concave curvature. A rear height of the rear major surface is greater than a front height of the front surface. The lamp has a plurality of light sources 36 and a reflector configured to reflect the light emitted from the plurality light of sources towards the projection lens. As the lens profile is swept along a curve length, at least one of the rear convex curvature or the front concave curvature varies. The light output from the front surface of the projection lens is generally uniform along the curve length.

摘要: The objective of the invention is to provide vehicular lighting such that unevenness in the light distribution occurring on a road surface is minimized upon consideration of workability when performing an adjustment by aiming, or the like. This vehicular lighting forms a light distribution having a cut-off line CL, and comprises a light source (30) and a lens (50) disposed on the forward side of the light source (30). The entry surface (51) of the lens (50) wherefrom light from the light source (30) enters comprises: an upper side entry surface (54) on an upper side from the center of the entry surface (51), wherein first light diffusing portions (54a) for diffusing the light are disposed; a lower side entry surface (56) on a lower side from the center of the entry surface (51), wherein second light diffusing portions (56) for diffusing the light are disposed; and a middle entry surface (55) including the center of the entry surface, wherein third light diffusing portions (55b) and fourth light diffusing portions (55a) for diffusing the light are disposed, and having straight-through portions (55c) wherein no third light diffusing portions (55b) and no fourth light diffusing portions (55a) are disposed. The light diffusion width for each of the third light diffusing portions (55b) is larger than the light diffusion width for each of the fourth light diffusing portions (55a).

摘要: A vehicular lighting apparatus is relatively small, low cost, superior in mountability, and offers a superior design. The vehicular lighting apparatus attachable to a front end of a vehicle includes: a composite lens element that is a light guide element constructed by molding a translucent resin substantially into a plate-like shape; a planar light-emitting unit that emits illumination light; an optical system that transforms planar light from the light-emitting unit into linear light and that causes the linear transformed light to be incident on a rear side face of the light guide element; and a diffraction lens formed on the rear side face of the light guide element on which the linear transformed light is incident, and condensing the linear transformed light. The light condensed by the lens means is emitted from a front side face of the light guide element onto a road surface in front of the vehicle.

摘要: A lighting device to be mounted on a vehicle has a light source, a projection lens having an optical axis, and disposed so as to allow at least some of light emitted from the light source to pass therethrough, a holder that holds the projection lens, a pivot shaft provided at one of the projection lens and the holder and extending in a direction intersecting with the optical axis of the projection lens, a bearing provided at the other of the projection lens and the holder and that holds the pivot shaft, an aiming mechanism configured to pivot the projection lens relative to the holder about the pivot shaft, and a reflector configured to reflect the light emitted from the light source in a predetermined direction. The reflector is provided in the holder. The position of the holder to the light source is fixed.
