    摘要: Manufacturing a gun stock core using a curable material in a mold that includes a plurality of mold sections wherein each mold section defines a portion of a mold cavity of the mold. A first amount of curable material is poured into the mold cavity portion of the first mold section and cured to form a first portion of the gun stock core. A second amount of curable material is poured into the mold cavity portion of the second mold section, wherein the second mold cavity portion is fluidly connected to the first mold cavity portion to enable a bond to form between the poured material in the first and second mold cavity portions and cured for a predetermined time period to form a second portion of the gun stock core. The finished gun stock core has a variable specific gravity, weight, or strength along a longitudinal length and height.

    摘要: A rifle stock is configured to receive a barreled action having an attached barrel and a lower surface which also has a downward protrusion. A shell having an exterior surface defines an exterior and an interior of the stock. The shell has opposed sidewalls extending from a bottom portion and an intermediate portion. A span element which is preferably a planar element and at least in part encompassed by fill material spans between the opposed sidewalls. The span includes a structural element that connects to the shell, a transverse intermediate portion, vertical end portions, and a forward edge for a protrusion receptacle which is defined in part by fill material in the stock and in part by the span element. The protrusion receptacle receives a downward extending protrusion of the rifle action. The fill may comprise rigid foam, composite materials, carbon fiber, or combinations of these materials.

    摘要: A pistol frame is suitable for mounting of a trigger mechanism which includes a trigger mechanism housing having a through channel. The pistol frame includes an upper frame portion defining a rear receiving space, and a rear rail block disposed in the rear receiving space and including a bottom plate, and two side plates extending upwardly the bottom plate. Each side plate has a through hole suitable for aligning with the through channel to permit extension of a trigger housing pin therethrough to thereby fix the rear rail block and the trigger mechanism housing to the upper frame portion. The bottom plate and the side plates cooperatively define at least one receiving space suitable for receiving the extensions.
