Abstract:
Disclosed is a flat type color cathode ray tube of high quality, which is capable of maintaining a brightness and brightness uniformity of an image while improving contrast, thereby ensuring flatness and visual distinction of the image. The flat type color cathode ray tube comprises a panel having an outer surface which is substantially flat and an inner surface which takes a predetermined curvature. The panel possesses at a center part thereof a transmittance of 45%˜75%, and the inner surface of the panel possesses an on-diagonal-axis curvature RD which satisfies a correlation, 3.5R≦RD≦8.0R where R is a product of 1.767 and a diagonal length of an effective surface along a diagonal axis.
Abstract:
A stem for a cathode ray tube. The stem includes a circular disc type stem part adapated to be integrally sealed with an end of a neck portion of the cathod ray tube, an exhausting tube mounted in the middle of the stem part for the exhausting of the cathode ray tube, a plurality of leads mounted to the stem part along a periphery of the exhausting tube and connected to respective electrodes of an electron gun for providing voltage signals, and a plurality of stem mounds mounted to the respective leads for fixing and supporting the leads in the stem parts and having different shapes and/or sizes depending on loads to be applied to inner leads, so that cracks of the stem mounds and blocking problems of a shadow mask due to the cracks may be prevented.
Abstract:
A panel for a color cathode ray tube includes an opening portion provided with a seal end surface to which a funnel is sealed through a frit glass. The seal end surface of the opening portion is a rough surface comprising a large number of streak-shape ridges and troughs in which minute recesses and protrusions range in a circumference direction of the seal end surface.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an anti-reflection member and a display. The anti-reflection member includes a light transmittable substrate and an anti-reflection film. The anti-reflection film includes a first film formed from a light transmittable material, a second film formed from a light absorptive material having an electrical conductivity, a third film formed from a light transmittable material, a fourth film formed from a light transmittable material having an electrical conductivity, a fifth film formed from a light transmittable material having a high refractive index, and a sixth film formed from a light transmittable material. The anti-reflection member can prevent reflection of not only light coming from the first film side but also light coming from the sixth film side, thereby preventing an image from being doubly displayed on a screen.
Abstract:
Color CRT panel including an outside surface substantially flat, and an inside surface with a desired curvature, wherein an inside surface curvature structure of the panel consists of arc curvatures having a long axis direction radius Rx of curvature and a short axis direction radius Ry of curvature different from each other, thereby improving a structural strength of the shadow mask to prevent deterioration of color reproducibility of an image.
Abstract:
A cathode ray tube device in which two deflection yokes and two electron guns are used, but in which only one shadow mask is used. Image uniformity is obtained by creating a partial overlap of the two images created by the two yokes.
Abstract:
A glass funnel for a cathode ray tube capable of increasing the rigidity of a body portion having a rectangular-shaped open end portion and reducing the weight of the glass funnel wherein on at least a long side of the body portion, arched face portions are formed so as to be substantially perpendicular to an open end face of the body portion and an arch-like ridge portion in each of the arched face portions is extended to portions in the vicinity of the open end portion, whereby stresses generated in the body portion can be transmitted to the corner portions of high rigidity of the open end portion along the ridge portions.
Abstract:
A cathode-ray tube for preventing electrification and shielding electromagnetic waves and manufacturing method thereof are provided. A cathode ray tube of the invention includes a transparent conductive film and a transparent insulating protective film, an electrode formed on at least a part of an inactive screen and on sides of the panel portion before the transparent conductive film and the transparent insulating protective film are coated; and a conductive tape coated with a conductive adhesive, electrically connecting the electrode and an, explosive-proof band. According to this invention, a panel of the cathode ray tube is grounded by an electrode being in direct contact with a transparent conductive film, which provides more effective grounding than that through a protective film. At the same time, the cathode ray tube panel can effectively suppresses static electricity buildup and blocks electromagnetic waves by providing a path to ground through which excess electric charge generated on the surface of a cathode-ray tube can easily flow off, while preventing damage to an electrode.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a packing device for CRT funnels vertically stacked over and over, receiving a plurality of CRT funnels, comprising a planar supporter having a plurality of through holes, each through hole allowing a neck of the funnel to be inserted therethrough; a pair of first inner walls formed in opposite sides of the supporter, being able to be folded relative to the planar surface of the supporter; and a pair of second inner walls formed in opposite sides of the supporter, being able to be folded relative to the planar surface of the supporter together with the first inner walls, a plurality of foldable lines being formed in at least one of the first and second inner walls, allowing the first and second inner walls to be folded relative to the planar surface of the supporter. With this configuration, there is provided a packing device for CRT funnels having a stiffness enough to support the CRT funnels while the funnels are being transferred, and being stored with reduced volume.
