摘要： An anode substrate constituted of a conductive film forming substrate and a reinforcing substrate having different thermal expansion coefficient and being bonded together by the arrangement of adhesive layers is disclosed. The substrate can prevent creation of cracks on the conductive film forming substrate when heating and cooling the anode substrate. The adhesive layers are arranged at an interval, each of the adhesive layers being formed into a shape selected from a group consisting of a rectangular strip shape and a curved strip shape. The adhesive layers are arranged in a pattern to be symmetry with respect to a center line of the arrangement of the adhesive layers extending perpendicular to a line connecting both longitudinal ends of the arrangement of the adhesive layer. Furthermore, the adhesive layers include an outer adhesive portion located outward among remaining adhesive layers, and the outer adhesive layers are arranged shorter than the remaining adhesive layers.

摘要： An image display device includes a front substrate having anodes and phosphors, a rear substrate having plural video signal wirings or lines and plural electron sources each formed on a corresponding one of the video signal wirings or lines, and disposed to face the front substrate with a predetermined spacing between the front and rear substrates and a support member which is sandwiched between the front and rear substrates, surrounds a display area formed therebetween and maintains the predetermined spacing. The support member is includes long-side portions of a uniform width disposed on long sides of the front substrate and short-side portions of a uniform width disposed on short sides of the front substrate. At least the long-side portions are curved convexly toward an outside of the display area.

摘要： Disclosed are a cathode ray tube and a funnel therefore. An anode button is installed on the funnel to meet the condition of 2.8≦T, in which T is a B/A ratio, A is a distance on a central axis of the funnel between a seal edge face of the funnel, which abuts a panel, and the anode button, and B is a distance on the central axis of the funnel between the anode button and a neck seal of the funnel, which is positioned at the opposite side of the seal edge face in the funnel. According to this invention, it is possible to prevent mechanical interference and electrical interference, such as distortion of deflection magnetic field, caused depending on the installation position of the anode button on the funnel.
