Abstract:
A shoe heel cover is designed to be selectively positioned and removed from a heel of a shoe. The heel cover is configured as a resilient flexible compressible hollow body having a plurality of concave indentations formed in its outer wall. A plurality of concave parts, each corresponding to the concave indentations extends inwardly toward the center of the opening formed in the hollow body. In one aspect, the heel cover body has an hour-glass cross-section. The middle portion of the body has the smallest diameter opening, such that the convex parts exert a bias and gripping action on the heel, preventing the heel cover from slipping from the shoe heel.
Abstract:
An article of footwear comprising a sole and at least one strap connected to the sole, a mounting base permanently affixed to the strap and a modular light unit removably mounted to the base. The modular light unit contains a light, a power source and a switch between the power source and light operable to energize and denergize the light.
Abstract:
A boot including a sole assembly and an upper, the boot extending lengthwise from a rear end to a front end, widthwise between a lateral side and a medial side, and heightwise from the sole assembly up to an upper end, the boot including a first envelope that extends along a lower portion and an upper portion. For at least one of the lateral side and medial side, the first envelope includes a front lower flap, a rear lower flap, as well as a rear upper flap, the front lower flap partially extending along the rear lower flap, and the rear upper flap partially extending along the rear lower flap, the front lower flap and rear upper flap extending along the same surface of the rear lower flap.
Abstract:
A heel cup formed from a flexible material is located under the heel region of an upper portion of an article of footwear. Lateral and medial counters extend upward from the heel cup on the lateral and medial sides, with the medial counter having a height less than that of the lateral counter, and with a rear edge of the heel cup being lower than the lateral and medial counters. A rear strap extends upward around the lateral counter and around the Achilles tendon of the wearer, and is secured to a location on the upper that is forward of the wearer's ankle. During cutting movements in which the article is worn on the outside foot, tilting of the wearer foot and ankle toward the medial side pulls the strap and causes the lateral counter to conform to and support the wearer heel.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a braided strip, which comprising: a main body, two reducing ends and two expanded ends; two reducing ends are covered separately onto the first and second ends of the main body; the present invention is technically characterized by that, two expanded ends are protruded slightly from the front end of two reducing end for protection purpose, thus avoiding any hurt against hands, feet or clothes or shoes with improved applicability.
Abstract:
An article of footwear includes an upper and a sole assembly secured to the upper. The sole assembly has at least one fluid-filled chamber capable of transmitting light and a recess. A light source is positioned in the recess, and an outsole is secured to a lower surface of the sole assembly.
Abstract:
An article of footwear has an upper and a sole structure. The upper has a foot portion for receiving a foot and a leg portion for receiving at least a portion of a leg, and the sole structure is secured to a lower area of the foot portion. The footwear includes at least one of a plate system, a hinge system, and a sole structure formed from materials of different hardness, stiffness, or density. The plate system includes a plate that extends over a medial side of the footwear and may (a) be formed of materials of different hardness or (b) extend onto the sole structure and into an indentation in the sole structure. The hinge system includes a chassis secured to the foot portion and a beam secured to the leg portion, with a hinge rotatably-joining the chassis and beam.
Abstract:
An article of footwear includes a sole body (2) having a front region, a mounting groove formed in a top surface thereof and having a groove bottom wall, and a retaining groove formed in the groove bottom wall. A support plate is disposed in the retaining groove. An upper includes a vamp part connected to and extending above the front region and having a rear edge, and left and right sidewalls extending upwardly and respectively from left and right ends of the sole body. An instep strap includes an instep abutment strap section extending convexedly from one of the sidewalls toward the other sidewall, spaced apart from the rear edge of the vamp part, and having first and second ends. One of the first and second ends is integrally connected as one piece with one of the sidewalls. A foot arch correction device is supported by the support plate.
Abstract:
A footwear structure including an outsole, an upper and a midsole, each including a shank interlock portion. The midsole may include multiply layers of differing rigidity.
Abstract:
A full length composite plate to be used as part of an outsole assembly in an article of footwear is disclosed. The full length composite plate comprises a composite material that has a certain percent elongation. The full length composite plate can include a heel cup for heel stability and improved traction. The full length composite plate also can include two angled portions along an arch region that provide arch support, as well as two flattened edges along the arch region to minimize or eliminate buckling. The forefoot region can be relatively flatter than the arch and heel regions, and notches are preferably included along a portion of the forefoot to increase flexibility.
