摘要： A set of devices for fabricating a novel, soft, sheet-like colored plastic picture or a product which adheres on a window glass, a tile, or a wall and may be enjoyed as an indoor decoration, or may be utilized as a coaster or a pendant, and a method of fabricating a colored plastic picture or a product with use thereof. The set of devices includes a metal plate (1), colored vinyl chloride resin material (4) in sol state contained in a squeeze tube, and a hot plate (3). After the sol state colored vinyl chloride resin material is extruded from a tube (4) onto a rough sketch (2) drawn on the metal plate (1) of the set of devices, so as to paint the picture (c) (d), the metal plate is put on a hot plate (3) to be heated, so as to gel the colored vinyl chloride resin, and the gelled colored chloride resin is removed from the metal plate after cooling, thereby fabricating the colored plastic picture or product.

摘要： An apparatus is set forth to provide a toy to enhance the imagination and entertainment of children simulating ghost detection and capture. The device includes a central cabinet provided with a battery powered sequencing of LED lights. The lights are mounted upon spaced "L" shaped arms directed in a parallel relationship relative to the main cabinet. A further series of lights mounted on a forward face of the cabinet cooperates with the LED lights to enhance the visual effect of their use. 摘要： An electrostatic image display apparatus which uses piezoelectric film to enable a user to form images on a screen. The apparatus is contained within a housing. Supported within the housing is a common electrode. A layer of piezoelectric film is separated a distance from the common electrode by a suspension medium. The suspension medium contains electrially charged pigmented particles, the color of which contrasts with the color of the suspension medium. The housing has an opening for applying localized pressure to one surface of the piezoelectric film. In addition, the apparatus has a source for energizing the common electrode to a preselected electric potential. By applying a force or infrared energy to an area of the piezoelectric film a charge accumules on the inner surface of the film, directly under the point of application of the force. This charge attracts the electrically charged pigmented particles in the suspension medium which are visible through the film and create an image display.

The discs are hinged to each other on an axis offset from the common axis for individual swinging movement of each disc independently of the others. 摘要： A synthetic phosphorescent fiber having a sectional dimension of less than approximately 0.015 in. and a method of manufacturing the fiber. The fiber comprises a body portion made of a flexible and durable polymeric material which is at least partially translucent and a plurality of phosphorescent particles in the body portion. The particles have a miximum particle size which is less than one half of the sectional dimension of the fibers and between approximately 0.0075 in. and 0.0005 in. and they have a mean particle size which is greater than approximately 0.0025 in. The fibers are manufactured in accordance with the method by mixing appropriately sized phosphorescent particles with a coupling agent, mixing the particles and the coupling agent with a suitable polymer and extruding the resultant mixture to form fibers. The fibers can be effectively utilized for artificial hair for toy dolls as well as for various other applications.
