摘要： An ammunition cartridge assembled from (1) a substantially cylindrical polymeric cartridge casing body defining a casing headspace with an open projectile-end and an end opposing the projectile-end, wherein the casing body has (A) a substantially cylindrical injection molded polymeric bullet-end component with opposing first and second ends, the first end of which is the projectile-end of the casing body and the second end has a male or female coupling element; and (B) a cylindrical polymeric middle body component with opposing first and second ends, wherein the first end has a coupling element that is a mate for the projectile-end coupling element and joins the first end of the middle body component to the second end of the bullet-end component, and the second end is the end of the casing body opposite the projectile end and has a male or female coupling element; and (2) a cylindrical cartridge casing head-end component with an essentially closed base end with a primer hole opposite an open end with a coupling element that is a mate for the coupling element on the second end of the middle body and joins the second end of the middle body component to the open end of the head-end component; wherein the middle body component is formed from a material more ductile than the material head-end component is formed from but equal or less ductile than the material the bullet-end component is formed from. Methods for assembling ammunition cartridges and ammunition cartridges having the headspace length larger than the corresponding headspace length of the chamber of the intended weapon measured at the same basic diameter for the cartridge casing without being so large as to jam the weapon or otherwise interfere with its action are also disclosed.

摘要： A cartridge or ammunition casing is made of two components, one forming the outer casing sleeve and head end and the other comprising a plug seated within the head end to protect the outer casing material from propellant gases. The outer cylindrical sidewall and end panel of the casing may be made of a material selected from the group consisting of stainless steel, steel, pre-coated carbon steel, brass or brass-type alloys, aluminum, hardened aluminum alloys, and suitable polymeric plastic material such as nylon derivatives and VECTRA™. The inner plug may be made of a material selected from the group consisting of aluminum, brass, steel, stainless steel, and suitable polymeric materials.

摘要： A firearm cartridge has a case configured with a relatively straight-walled portion and a shoulder portion for housing a quantity of propellant. The case further includes a neck for retaining a bullet. The straight-walled portion defines a base cavity having an interior base diameter. The interior base diameter is approximately twice or more the neck diameter. The diameter ratios of the base and neck optimize combustion efficiency to reduce heat and acceleration losses. The cartridge body cavity is sized and configured to contain a sufficient quantity of propellant such that igniting the propellant causes formation of a propellant plug having a diameter that is approximately the diameter of the bullet, and wherein the propellant plug shears free from unburned propellant that is disposed adjacent the relatively straight-walled body portion.

摘要： A firearm cartridge with a rimmed metal case having a body portion having a rim and a cylindrical wall portion adjacent to the rim. The body portion has dimensions corresponding to a 22 Long Rifle specification. The case has a tapered shoulder portion contiguous with the first portion, and a neck portion contiguous with the shoulder portion and a defining a mouth. The mouth closely receives a bullet having a diameter less than 0.22 caliber, and the case has a length significantly greater than 0.66 inch. The case may be formed with a neck that is relatively short compared to the body portion and overall length, to provide improved cartridge trajectory performance.

摘要： A long-distance blast banger including a cartridge loaded with a blast banger made up from plastic material. The blast banger encompasses a sound explosives cup and a delay cup. The sound explosives cup is loaded with a sound explosives agent having components including perchloryl potassium, magnesium powder and aluminum powder. A sufficient sound value is acquired through appropriate compacting of the sound explosives cup, and therefrom realizes uniform shattering of the cup into small fragments that are insufficient to cause injury. Furthermore, at least two helical grooves extending from a bottom to a top of the cartridge are defined on an inner wall thereof, and ear attachments are configured on a base of an outer wall of the blast banger so as to correspond with the helical grooves, thereby engendering a spinning stability effect during flight time of the blast banger, reducing wind resistance, and thus increasing flight range.

The invention makes ammunition the prime tracing point for any firearms crime related offence, rather than guns which have been the traditional core tracing point for firearms crime investigations. Since the bullet does the killing or wounding when a firearm is fired at someone, by introducing my invention, it would become easier, quicker, and accurate to trace and arrest actual firearms crime offenders, by the. records of ammunition used in the committing of crimes; with ammo owners as prime suspect to provide clues leading to crime offenders. This mechanism saves much time, reduces efforts, materials, funds, and threats of crimes on the people. The idea of the return of empty bullet casings with firearms use incident reports by firearms carriers to the Agency, and the introduction of “Firearms Use Oversight Responsibility” and “Firearms Use Oversight Tax” are new in the management of firearms and ammunition use.
