摘要: An activatable thermal fuse includes a first electrical terminal, a second electrical terminal, and an electrically conductive bridge element having a first electric contact with the first electrical terminal and a second electric contact with the second electrical terminal. At least a part of the bridge element is displaceable from a first position in which the first contact is established to a second position in which the first contact is opened, and a thermally sensitive member releases the part when exposed to a predetermined temperature value. An activating element blocks displacement of the part from the first position, in a first position of the activating element, and enables the displacement of the part in a second position of the activating element. A method of manufacturing a printed circuit board, a method of monitoring, and an electronic circuit including the thermal fuse are also provided.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to thermostats. In one illustrative embodiment, a thermostat includes a housing defining a cavity, an electrical contact, a temperature sensitive disc that is configured to transition from a first stable state to a second stable state at a first temperature, and a spring disc having a first stable state and a second stable state. During operation, the temperature sensitive disc may apply a force to the spring disc that causes the spring disc to transition from its first stable state to its second stable state when the temperature sensitive disc transition from its first stable state to its second stable state at the first temperature. The force required to move the spring disk from the first stable state to the second stable state may be less than the force required to move the spring disk from the second stable state to the first stable state.

摘要: An overload protection switch includes a main body and a press button. Several terminals, a conductive plate and other components are arranged in the main body. By means of switching the press button, the switch is switchable between an on state and an off state. In case of overload, the conductive plate will separate from one of the terminals to switch off the switch. The components arranged in the main body will not hinder the conductive plate from separating from the terminal. When switching on the switch, the conductive plate resiliently contacts the terminal. In case of overload, the conductive plate separates from the terminal to switch off the switch so as to provide overload protection effect.

摘要: An over current cut-off switch has an electric insulating housing, a first conductive foot, a second conductive foot, a reed, an electric wire and a switch button. The housing received upper portions of the first and second conductive feet, the reed and the electric wire. The button is configured on a top of the electric insulating housing. One end of the reed uses a connecting conductor to rivet to the first conductive foot. The other free end of the reed is separately connected to a top of the second conductive foot. The electric wire is mounted between the reed and the first conductive foot to be used as current branch. The switch button is configured on a top of the electric insulating housing. One side of a bottom of the switch button has a bump.

摘要: The invention relates to a re-settable, single-phase, thermo/electric circuit breaker utilizing a U-shape bimetallic element of substantial resistance properties in the circuit, so that when a predetermined overload current occurs the bimetallic element self heats and moves to trip a mechanism that opens the breaker circuit. The invention replaces the double-contact break configuration normally associated with a breaker of this type, with a single contact break configuration designed to produce a sliding action between contacts during the normal reset operation, providing a more reliable continuity at the moveable and stationary contact interface that is also less expensive to produce.

摘要: A breaker has a first conducting strip and a second conducting strip respectively mounted on a lower end of a shell; a first terminal mounted on the second conducting strip; a bimetal strip securely provided on a first conducting strip; a second terminal mounted on a tip of the bimetal strip and detachably connected to the first terminal; a button provided on an upper end of the shell; a finger pivotally provided under the curved spring; and a lever with a smooth surface provided between the bimetal strip and the finger wherein an end of the lever is bent to form an angle. Hence, the finger can slide on the smooth surface of the lever so that the button can completely return to an original status. Furthermore, when the angle is small, the finger counter clockwise rotates with a small stored power of the bimetal strip.

摘要: Upper and lower flexible blades carry normally closed contacts that are opened by upward movement of the upper blade responsive to snapping of a bimetal disc. The disc is reset by a pushbutton movable from a rest position to a depressed reset position. In its reset position, part of the reset button extends past the upper blade into engagement with the lower blade for moving and holding the lower contact away from the upper contact to prevent reclosing of the contacts until the pushbutton is moved back toward its rest position.

摘要: A surge absorbing element is parallel connected to an electronic device via a pair of communication lines. A normally closed thermal response switch is serially connected between the electronic device and the signal source on the input side of the surge absorbing element. When a surge voltage is instantaneously applied to the communication lines, the thermal response switch remains in the closed position and the surge absorbing element acts to suppress the surge voltage. When an overvoltage or over current is continuously applied to the communication lines, the thermal response pieces of the thermal response switch open and simultaneously release the movable body. Consequently, the electronic device is disconnected from the signal source, thus stopping the continuous overvoltage or overcurrent from flowing to the electronic device and the surge absorbing element. Simultaneously, the reset pin is projected through the casing. After the temperature of the switch decreases, the switch is reset to the closed position by pushing a reset pin which reconnects the electronic device to the communication lines.

摘要: A reduced-size thermal overload relay having a housing (2) that includes three narrow compartments (2k, 2l, 2m) in which are mounted three connector brackets (16,18,20) supporting three flat bimetal members (16j, 18j, 20j). Three narrow cassette heaters (6,8,10) are mounted at the upper part of the housing and held in by a snap-in hold-down device (12) that engages pairs of hooks (6b, 7b) at the lower portions of the heaters. A pushbutton (12a) on the hold-down device extends through a hole (3c) in the front wall of the housing for manual depression to release the heaters for removal. Each bracket (16) is H-shaped having legs (16c, 16d) for mounting it in a housing compartment (2k) and arms (16a, 16b) connected by a platform (16e) to which the upper terminal clip (6d) of the cassette heater is clamped with a screw (16q), the small angles of this platform and terminal clip automatically drawing the flat heater element (6c) into desired spacing with the bimetal member. The current flow down the arms (16a, 16b) prevents loss of heat through the terminal lead (16h). A switch (4) mounted at the side of the housing is tripped by a joint or differential operating mechanism (28,30,32) mounted below the three compartments and actuated by the three deflecting bimetal members.

摘要: A pair of conductors in an electric switch are kept in electrical contact by a wire gripped between the conductors and a base against which the conductors are biased. A pedestal of meltable material in a well, covered by a resilient sheet, supports the base in its position. A spring urges the wire out of engagement with the conductors, and is successful when the pedestal melts and fails to support the base, the base meanwhile distorting the resilient sheet. After the disengagement of the wire from the conductors, the pedestal resolidifies in its original shape as the resilient sheet regains its configuration. A reset button is coupled to re-engage the wire with the conductors.
