    摘要: A gas analyzer and a corresponding method is provided to measure the concentration of formaldehyde within enclosed environments such as within buildings comprising an ultraviolet light source, a sample chamber, a detector. The detector measures the intensity of light received by photosensors within a measurement range of wavelengths, and at least one reference range of wavelengths. Advantageously, the concentration of formaldehyde is determined taking into account fluctuations in the intensity of light emitted by the light source, and in the presence of any interferents such as nitrogen dioxide.

    摘要: An electrochemical gas sensor comprising a housing containing a plurality of electrodes and a liquid electrolyte, the housing having a gas inlet, the sensor defining at least one port through the housing having a metal interface pin therein, the interface pin extending through the port from the exterior of the housing, being electrically connected to at least one of the plurality of electrodes in the interior of the housing, the sensor additionally comprising a seal located around the metal interface pin within the port, and compressed between a wall of the port and the metal interface pin thereby restricting egress of liquid electrolyte from the housing, wherein the seal comprises an annular seal which in its uncompressed form either presents a cross-section which is concave in a radially extending direction of the seal, or whose width is constant over an extended axial direction of the seal.

    摘要: A dual gas sensor is described, having first and second working electrodes separated by a gas impermeable portion. The electrodes are preferably located on a gas permeable polymer support, with the gas impermeable portion being formed by compression of the permeable support. The sensor may also include one or more filters for location adjacent the electrodes to filter certain gases from the air. The preferred sensor is able to detect carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide. The sensor housing is formed with four connection pins, allowing a standard sensor housing to be used for dual sensors as well as single sensors having a dummy pin.
