    Abstract: A bicycle wheel rim includes an annular rim body having spaced left and right annular tire retaining walls adapted for retaining a bicycle tire therebetween, and an annular connecting wall interconnecting the tire retaining walls and cooperating with the tire retaining walls so as to confine a tire receiving space thereamong. A spoke mounting seat extends from the rim body and is disposed outwardly of the tire receiving space.     Abstract: A bicycle wheel rim adapted for mounting a plurality of spokes thereon includes spaced left and right tire retaining walls, an annular spoke mounting wall, an annular connecting wall, and left and right reinforcing walls. The spoke mounting wall interconnects inner edges of the tire retaining walls, and has a central spoke fastening portion formed with spoke fastening holes. The connecting wall is disposed around the spoke mounting wall, and interconnects intermediate portions of the tire retaining walls. The left reinforcing wall has a first end connected to a left terminating edge of the connecting wall and the intermediate portion of the left tire retaining wall, and a second end connected to the central spoke fastening portion of the spoke mounting wall. The left reinforcing wall is inclined with respect to the left tire retaining wall. The right reinforcing wall has a first end connected to a right terminating edge of the connecting wall and the intermediate portion of the right tire retaining wall, and a second end connected to the central spoke fastening portion of the spoke mounting wall. The right reinforcing wall is inclined with respect to the right tire retaining wall.

    Abstract: A bicycle wheel rim includes a rim body and a braking plate. The rim body includes annular first and second tire retaining walls adapted for retaining a bicycle tire therebetween, and a spoke mounting portion. Each of the tire retaining walls has a radial inner edge proximate to an axis of the wheel rim, a radial outer edge adapted for retaining the bicycle tire therebetween, and a lateral outer surface opposite to the other one of the tire retaining walls. The rim body further includes an annular spoke mounting portion which interconnects the radial inner edges of the tire retaining walls and which is adapted for mounting spokes thereon. The braking plate projects integrally from the lateral outer surface of the first tire retaining wall, and has two opposite brake pad contacting surfaces adapted to be contacted by brake pads of a brake device.

    Abstract: A bicycle wheel rim includes an annular frame formed from a metal strip with opposite end portions and having spaced left and right annular tire retaining walls with brake pad contacting surfaces, an annular inner spoke mounting wall interconnecting inner edges of the tire retaining walls, and an annular outer connecting wall disposed around the spoke mounting wall and interconnecting the tire retaining walls. The tire retaining walls, the spoke mounting wall and the outer connecting wall cooperatively confine an annular channel. Each of the left and right annular tire retaining walls, the spoke mounting wall and the outer connecting wall has two confronting end faces that are disposed respectively at the end portions of the metal strip and that are in close contact with each other. A connecting member is fitted in the channel and extends into the end portions of the metal strip. A weld connection is provided on the annular frame to strengthen connection between the end portions of the metal strip. The brake pad contacting surfaces of the tire retaining walls are free of any weld flash.
