摘要: An indication device indicates an undesired operation condition of a centrifugal separator and comprises an inlet valve situated in a supply conduit to the separator, and an outlet valve situated in an outlet conduit from the separator. During normal operation of the separator the valves are adjusted in open normal valve positions for passing normal flows through the supply and outlet conduits. A control unit is adapted to activate a signal generator to generate an error signal in response to a pressure sensor if the pressure sensor during a predetermined period of time during operation of the separator senses a course of pressure change in the outlet conduit different from an expected normal course of pressure change, when the inlet and outlet valves during predetermined period of time are adjusted in valve positions which at least substantially decreases the flows in the supply and outlet conduits from the normal flows.

摘要: A centrifugal separator comprises a centrifuge rotor (1), which has a wall (10) defining an interior of the rotor (1) and which during operation of the centrifugal separator is rotatable about a rotational axis (y) with respect to a stationary pipe member (2) comprising at least one passage for the transport of material. The pipe member (2) is provided to extend into the interior of the centrifuge rotor through an aperture of the rotor (1). A product separated during operation is collected in a chamber (9) provided in the proximity of said aperture and partly defined by an end wall portion (11) extending around said aperture and the pipe member (2) in such a manner that a clearance gap is formed between a radially inner edge of the end wall portion (11) and the pipe member (2). The end wall portion (11) is arranged to be deformable in the case that the pipe member contacts the end wall portion during the operation of the separator.

摘要: A plate heat exchanger (1) comprises a stack of heat transfer plates (2) provided between two end pieces (3, 4) and each having an essentially plane extension. Each end piece (3, 4) has an inner surface (9) facing said heat transfer plates and an outer surface (14) facing away from said heat transfer plates (2) and extending from one side to another of the end piece (3, 4). The plate heat exchanger (1) is compressed by means of at least one member (18) extending around the plate heat exchanger and abutting said outer surface (14) of each end piece (3, 4) in order to prevent the retreat of the end pieces from each other. The outer surface (14) of each end piece (3, 4) is curved in such a manner that the end piece has a convex shape in a cross section along a first plane (Y, Z) being perpendicular to the essentially plane extension of the heat transfer plate (2).

摘要: A deodorisation plant for treatment of fatty oils comprises a vessel (1) connected to a vacuum source. In the vessel there is a distillation column filled with structured packing material through which column the oil which shall be deodorised is brought to flow under influence of gravity and to meet a deodorisation gas in counter-current. In the vessel there is also a number of trays for collection of oil provided with drainage outlets in their lower part. The oil is treated with deodorisation gas in a batchwise way in these trays. The vessel is provided with an inlet (7) for oil and a connection (2) to a vacuum source in its upper part. In its lower part there is an outlet (9) for oil.

摘要: In a centrifugal rotor having inlet channels (23) situated between a stack of axially separated conical separation discs (13) and the rotor end wall (10), towards which the separation discs turn their apex ends, there is formed a counter pressure chamber (22) in an area where the inlet channels (23) communicate with one end of several distribution channels (21) extending through the stack of separation discs. The counter pressure chamber (22) is free of entrainment members, so that liquid leaving the inlet channels (23) is allowed to rotate in the counter pressure chamber at a smaller angular speed than the rotor. Further, the counter pressure chamber (22), communicates with a radially outer portion of the rotor separation chamber (9) through a sludge passage (34), which opens in the separation chamber at a level radially outside the stack of separation discs. The outlet channels (27) for separated liquid extend towards the rotor axis (R) from an area of the separation chamber which is situated in the vicinity of said rotor end wall (10) at a level in the separation chamber radially outside the stack of separation discs (13).

摘要: Damping device for a shaft, which supports a centrifugal rotor and is journalled in a bearing in a frame (7) in such a way that an oscillating movement of the shaft relative to the frame (7) is admitted during the rotation of the rotor (5). The damping device comprises a first friction member (8), which is connected to a bearing in such a way that the shaft is rotatable relative to the friction member, and a number of second friction members (10), which are supported by the frame (7) and are distributed around the shaft, each one of the second friction members (10) being arranged to be so kept pressed by a spring force towards the first friction member (8) in a predetermined direction that upon oscillating movement of the shaft (1) perpendicular to this predetermined direction a damping friction arises when the first friction member (8) together with the shaft is moving relative to the second friction member (10) referred to. In order to reduce the heat generation each one of the second friction members (10) is movable relative to the element, which it is supported by or connected to, i.e. the frame (7) or the bearing (3) perpendicular to the shaft (1) and perpendicular to said predetermined direction in a limited distance, which at least is 0.2 mm.

摘要: In the rotor of a centrifugal separator there is an annular slide (6) for opening and closing of a periphery outlet (12, 13) from a separation chamber (9). The slide (6) at its radially inner edge is connected with and axially fixed relative to the rotor body (1, 2) but has a radially outer edge portion (11) which is axially movable relative to the rotor body (1, 2). This is possible because a portion of the slide, having a substantial radial extension, is flexible. In operation, the flexibility of the slide results in an angular change between portions of the slide situated at different radial distances from the center axis of the rotor.

摘要: When continuously heat treating a liquid the flow of which varies, incoming liquid is preheated by already heated liquid and is then heated to a predetermined temperature-time-effect by a medium giving off heat in a second step. The flow of incoming liquid is sensed and controlled by a pump (1) with a variable capacity. The amount of heat needed to obtain the desired heating effect is influenced by a control unit (9). The heating effect is adjusted to the liquid flow by increasing/decreasing the temperature of the medium giving off heat or increasing/diminishing the flow of this medium from a heat store (6).
