摘要： A waterproof touch screen user interface panel constructed in such a way that readily available LCD displays and touch screen switches can be used in a wet environment. A thin plastic film is placed over the top of a touch screen/LCD assembly using moisture resistant adhesive to protect the assembly from the panel's top side and a specially constructed housing allows the use of silicon gel to protect the panel from the bottom side. The plastic film, typically a polycarbonate film, is thin enough to allow activation of the touch screen switches with a soft touch, yet rigid enough to prevent false activations of the switches until touched.

A line voltage service is connected through a GFCI to power the electrically powered devices, the GFCI adapted to interrupt the service upon detection of a ground fault. 摘要： An improved spa control system is disclosed. The invention describes a spa control system which calculates the time required to heat the water in the spa system to a desired temperature. From that information, the heating rate of the spa system can be determined, and the heating element of the spa system can be activated at the proper time to raise the temperature of the water to a selected temperature by a desired time. The spa system also monitors information which might show errors in the operation of the spa system such as a blockage in the flow of water over the heating element in the spa system.

摘要： A starting circuit for an electric discharge lamp providing an electric current to a lamp having a first and a second filament. The circuit measures a lamp current and a filament temperature and then compares these against a reference voltage. When the lamp current is below a set threshold value, a relay contact disposed between the first and second filament is closed to direct the electric current through the first and second filaments to initiate pre-heating of the lamp. Once the filament temperature exceeds a set threshold, the relay contact is opened and the electric current passes through heated gas inside the lamp.
