摘要： An encapsulation system for use in securing a rock bolt in a bore hole drilled into a rock face to be stabilised, the encapsulation system comprising at least two separate encapsulation mediums and one or more elongate cartridges containing the encapsulation mediums, each the cartridge having a frangible casing, the encapsulation mediums including: a first encapsulation medium comprising a curable first resin formulation; and a second encapsulation medium; wherein, following use in securing a rock bolt, the second encapsulation medium has a lower bond strength and/or a lower compressive strength than the first resin formulation.

摘要： A friction bolt assembly has a tubular friction bolt body defining a cavity and having a split. A rod extends through the cavity. An expansion element is mounted on the rod at or toward the rod leading end and protrudes through the friction bolt body leading end. The expansion element has an engagement surface tapering toward the rod trailing end. A drive head is mounted on the rod at or adjacent the rod trailing end. The rod is actuatable by rotation of the drive head to draw the expansion element toward the friction bolt body trailing end such that the engagement surface engages the friction bolt body, radially outwardly deforming the friction bolt body.

摘要： An apparatus for manufacturing a cable bolt from a cable (1) includes first and second clamps (2, 3) adapted to releasably clamp the cable (1) with the cable (1) extending along the longitudinal axis (4) of the apparatus. A first cable displacement device (12) longitudinally displaces the first clamp (2) relative to the second clamp (3) along the longitudinal axis (4). A first clamp rotation device (14) rotates the first clamp (2) relative to the second clamp (3) about the longitudinal axis (4). The apparatus also has a second clamp displacement device (19) for simultaneously longitudinally displacing the first and second clamps (2, 3) along the longitudinal axis (4).
