    摘要: Included is an anti-friction washer system comprising two steel washers coated with a zinc coating that is at least 0.0002 inch thick, the two washers adhered to one another by an adhesive having a melting temperature of 300° F. or less. Also included is a mine roof bolt system comprising: a bolt having a bolt head; a bearing plate; and the above-described anti-friction washer system located between the bearing plate and the bolt head. Also included is a method of manufacturing an anti-friction washer system including providing two zinc-coated washers, depositing a melted thermoplastic adhesive in a plurality of locations circumferentially around one surface of one of the washers, placing the other washer on top of the adhesive, applying pressure to the washers, and cooling the bonded washers.

    摘要: A corrosion-protected, self-drilling anchor and an anchor subunit and to a method for the production thereof is provided. A self-drilling anchor of the invention includes a number of anchor subunits, each with a hollow bar element, which are connected together by the formation of an axial bell butt joint to form a connected pull and pressure member. The first subunit t its end has a drill bit and the subunit is connected non-rotatably with its end to a drilling and injection device. It is provided according to the invention that each hollow bar element is surrounded by a sheathing except for its end sections and the annular gap between the sheathing and hollow bar element is grouted with a first corrosion protection compound. A coupler in the area of the bell butt joint fits tightly against the sheathings of the two hollow bar elements which are part of the bell butt joint. The hollow space between the coupler and hollow bar elements is filled with a second corrosion protection compound. A method of the invention provides for the prefabrication of a number of anchor subunits at the factory to drill these into the substrate at the site of the anchor to be produced and thereby for connecting them together with the formation of bell butt joints, whereby in the area of the bell butt joint a coupler fits tightly against the ends of two neighboring sheathings and the hollow space between the coupler and hollow bar element is filled with a second corrosion protection compound.

The cap may be left in place on the end of the anchor to protect the anchor during insertion thereof into a borehole.     摘要: A mine roof support assembly for anchoring in a bore hole by means of a resin, cementitious grout which includes an elongated reinforcing tendon which extends from a proximal end portion to a distal end portion. A slip sheath formed from a heat shrunk plastic, is secured by heat shrinkage radially about the tendon. The sheath is mechanically coupled to the tendon so as to allow the desired axial sliding of the tendon relative to the sheath on the application of predetermined forces which sufficient to effect any desired yielding movement of the tendon in the bore hole. An anti-bonding agent or coating and/or anticorrosive may be interposed between the sheath and the tendon, whereby the sheath substantially encapsulates and limits the admixing of the interposed anti-bonding agent/anti-corrosive coating with the resin.

    摘要: Broadly, the structures of the invention comprises a friction rock stabilizer and a sheath therefor to isolate the stabilizer from the surface of an earth structure bore and its associated corrosion environment, and bonding between the engaging surfaces of the stabilizer and sheath. The sheath, of low-friction polyethylene (although other suitable material could be used), facilitates stabilizer insertion into the bore. Additionally, the polyethylene sheath is heat and pressure sensitive. Insertion of the stabilizer generates considerable frictional heat and pressure and, as a consequence, upon the stabilizer being fully inserted, the sheath fuses onto the exterior, interfacing surface of the stabilizer. Further, the sheath material extrudes from prominences and flows into crevices (a) in the surface of the bore against which it is forceably pressed, and (b) plastically deforms to insinuate itself into, around, and onto discontinuities in the interfacing surface of the stabilizer, lockingly to engage with the latter surface. Such fusing, extrusion and flow, and the aforesaid locking engagement inhibit disengagement of the stabilizer from the sheath, and the sheath from the bore, following insertion of the stabilizer into a sheath-lined bore. The method of the invention comprises preparing one of the aforesaid engaging surfaces with adhesive, or grit, etc., to secure the stabilizer, in the bore, firmly bonded to the sheath.
