    摘要: A crankshaft (1) includes a first to a sixth crank pin (41-46), a first to a fourth main journal (21-24) and a first to a ninth crank arm (61-69). At least the first, the second, the eighth and the ninth crank arms (61, 62, 68, 69) have respective integral counterweights (61′, 62′, 68′, 69′) for balancing the crankshaft (1). In order to reduce bending stress on the areas where the second and the eighth crank arms (62, 68) are connected to the respective pairs of adjacent crank pins (41-42, 45-46), the axial dimensions of the first and the ninth crank arms (61, 69) are reduced, being substantially the same as those of the adjacent crank arms (62, 68) in order that the axial length of the two end spans of the crankshaft is the same as that of the intermediate span. In order to balance the crankshaft (1), two additional counterweights (71, 72) are arranged outwardly of the end journals (21, 24) and their axial dimensions are comparable to those of the end crank arms (61, 69).

    摘要: In a system for releasing a pedal of a motor vehicle in the event of a frontal impact, the pedal includes a first, inner element which is transversely pivoted on a support secured to a front portion of the body of the vehicle and is able to operate a control rod, and a second, outer element having a lower, lever portion, operable by the driver, and an upper portion transversely pivoted on the inner element. A pair of tongues are provided for securing the said first and second elements together, and a stop member is mounted on a portion of the passenger compartment behind the pedal. The system can assume a first, normal operating condition, in which the elements are secured to each other by the tongues, and in a second condition, in the event of a frontal impact, in which rearward movement of the pedal towards the stop member causes the tongues to yield, thus allowing the outer element of the pedal to rotate relative to the inner element.

    摘要: The device is adapted to control the movement of a valve (1) of an internal combustion engine comprising a stem (1a) which may move in translation through an opening (2a) of a hollow guide body (2) and which ends in a mushroom head (1b) cooperating in operation with a valve seat (12) provided in a wall (13) of the engine head. The valve (1) may move in translation with respect to the hollow guide body (2) between a retracted position and a forward position in which the mushroom head (1b) respectively closes and opens the associated valve seat (12).The control device comprises an electromagnet (3) adapted, when energised, to retain the valve (1) in the retracted closed position, a first spring (7) associated with the valve (1) and tending to urge it towards the open position, and a second spring (8) also associated with the valve (1) and tending to oppose its transition into the open position. The arrangement is such that when the electromagnet (3) is de-energised, the valve (1) moves in acceleration towards the open position under the action of the first spring (7) until the action of the latter stops, and then the valve (1) moves in deceleration into the open position under the action of the second spring (8).
