摘要: In a carburetor (1) including a choke valve (7) on the upstream side inside an aspiration passage (3) and a throttle valve (8) on the downstream side, the valves (7) and (8) are disposed at positions such that the valves adjacently oppose each other when having been turned to be in the fully open state, a bulging part (11) that bulges toward the region (A1) between the adjacently opposing valves (7) and (8) is integrally provided inside a venturi (9), and the aspiration passage (3) is divided into an air-fuel mixture passage (4) located on the side where a main jet (10) is provided and an air passage (5) through which leading air circulates by the bulging part and the valves (7) and (8), both of which are in the fully open condition.

摘要: An engine blower includes a centrifugal blower, an engine, and a frame for supporting the centrifugal blower. The centrifugal blower is supported by a back support of the frame via a flexible vibration-proofing section while being connected to the back support via a belt-shaped stopper. An engaging hole is provided on at least one of the centrifugal blower and the back support, and a thick engaging section is provided on at least one end of the stopper for being engaged with the engaging hole. When the stopper is inserted into the engaging hole and the one end of the stopper is pulled, the engaging section is engaged with the engaging hole. By further pulling the one end of the stopper, the engaging section is tightly buried into the engaging hole. Thus, the stopper can be reliably attached to the centrifugal blower or the back support.

摘要: According to a chain saw braking system, engagement between a front end portion of a belt and a main body by an engagement member is released at the time of application of an impact. When a front end portion is pulled by the spring force of a compression coil spring, an elongate hole for protrusion is engaged with a protrusion to restrict a rear end portion from being moved in the same direction as the front end portion. Thus, it is possible to strongly tighten a drum by the belt to thereby reliably stop the movement of a chain. With this arrangement, the chain can be prevented from being damaged when a chain saw is accidentally dropped onto the ground due to an impact applied thereto.

摘要: Since a throttle hole for narrowing a scavenging passage is provided on a partition for closing the scavenging passage, the throttle hole of a desired size can be drilled at a desired location on the partition after preparing the scavenging cover having no throttle hole on the partition. Accordingly, the size and location of the throttle hole can be easily changed in conducting a test for finding the most appropriate size and location of the throttle hole, so that the most appropriate size and location of the throttle hole can be easily found.
